Tell ya.. that was a huge win and 3 points, well done guys! what a performance and i'm delighted that Liam Polwarth is stepping up to become a great player for us. Talk about a nailbiting finish!! jeez must have been a nerve shredding finale for those watching, anyway that will give the team a big boost to their confidence for Saturday, canna wait now!
-
Well needed 3 points, but by feck that second half was dire!! we did the simple things wrong and when we had chances we took the wrong choice. Meekings HAS to go back into central defence with Warren, drop Devine, and play Horner /Raven at RB! Anyway, delighted with the result and another of the same next week and it will be a happy xmas/birthday for me!!!!

Well, firstly i'm well pissed off hearing Yogi's comments in the press.. ' We need to be sharper and more clinical in the final third' Doh! That must be the first line in his quotes for the press after most games this season! yet he starts with a 4 5 1 set up, with Storey looking so remote on his own up front. The stunningly poor goal rate from our midfield is a worry, take Ryan out of the picture and our midfield have scored 2 goals from open play this season! Shocking, i wonder if this slow, pedantic build up is the reason, as it is the midfield have no pace players to help Storey up front or to get wide and behind opposition defenders. Next observation, Meekings is a far better central defender than Devine, Our best defensive partnership was Meekings and Warren, lets get that back. All the goals yesterday should have been defended better, when Mcgregor ran forward with the ball, Devine reversed just about as quickly and gave the young lad all the room in the world to score, poor defending. Meekings should have done better for the second and Devine was ball watching, and for the third... well just a joke. We are shipping far too many goals due to shyte defending, get Devine off, put either Raven or Horner at RB, And our best defence back in there.

I would agree with this, especially the last bit...

Well if all the happy clappers have had their say, I would attempt to bring them back to earth... Not one attempt on goal.(on target) Tremarco lost the ball the two times he ventured foward. Vigurs flattered to deceive. His work rate is poor, we can't afford passengers in these difficult times. Vincent was terrible today. Nothing came off for him, was he played out of position....again? Polwarth was again way off the pace and missed a glorious chance to score when it would have been easier to hit the target. Williams could not do anything right either, jeez he was shyte. However, I would have taken a point before the game, so it's okay eh.... no Dundee were the worst team I've seen this season by far the worst, so it seems a bit frustrating that we didn't take 3 points Wolwoth

Looking back at last nights poor performance, our poor squad depth is showing up like the midday sun, glaringly short of class. Tremarco is very average and should not be first choice, Hughes is at fault for not buying a replacement for Shinnie, Raven is having a very poor run of form, he has been looking as bad as Tremarco( which is pretty dire) he needs dropped, but we dont have cover. Devine is also looking very nervous and for his height is pretty **** in the air, distribution is also suspect - we dont have cover. Polworth is a squad player at best and if other players were fit he would be lucky to see the bench, he got caught in posession and was forced into loose passes so often. Vincent needs to stay in midfield, drop Polworth and play Danny Williams, Christie had to come to deep to get the ball - waste of talent. Anyway, bring on the Dee.

Thanks. Thought it was more than 2,200. It must be at least 2,500 as our record crowd is 7,753 against the former Glasgow Rangers and you are right about the Main Stand capacity. North and South stands each hold 2740. Dons must have had at least 3000 at the game.
-
Oh forgot to mention the great crowd yesterday - from Aberdeen! 6400 of which the Dons must have had about 3200? they had south stand, plus the open end of main stand plus the wee west area, from my temporary seat in the center of the main stand the north stand looked half empty! looks like we managed an extra 200 fans for a big game with a 3pm KO on a beautiful autumn day, kind of frustrating.
-
Polworth looked totally lost yesterday, I just don't think he's good enough for this level. If we had our full compliment of midfielders fit he wouldn't be on the bench i'm afraid. But a great team performance yesterday, well chuffed wi that result!!!!!
-
Think someone found his password eh! I'll clap Shinnie onto the park, then boo him non stop every touch, he is now opposition! and will score against us, and try his hardest to beat us..

His agent seemingly wanted THREE times the salary he was on to stay, saying that without him we would have not won the Scottish cup!
-
Not a lot happening on the transfer front - pretty quiet, looks like the deals are all done...
-
Oh dear..... Wonder if Yogi feels this guy will score lots of goals?
-
McGregor can afford Mackay, County cant, they are living way beyond their means, but as long as moneybags stumps up they will still pay more than us.
-
Must admit that i'm getting a bit concerned, in fact a big bit concerned, Yogi said on TV tonight that is was quite a problem getting players to come to Scotland, and that the last target didn't want to come here. Now other teams have managed this, so it is Inverness? But players sign for Dungwell (albeit they all live in Inverness). So why the hassle? Also other teams seem to attract players of a decent standard on loan, given our horrendous injury situation why cant we go down the loan route to help us out?
-
Hacked, perp has sore balls.....
-
Admire yer optimism Ronnie, however the reality is that we don't have the squad or the quality at the moment to get out of this fix, The thoroughbreds are off and the donkeys are home. Too many of the team are not good enough for the SPFL i'm afraid, cant think why Yogi has not gone done the 'loan' route, other teams have done well using this method.

matchday thread Inverness CT -V- Partick Thistle

Alarm bells for Yogi!!! 5 games 1 goal..... feckin poor, in fact totally out of order. Positives - we did not get beat! Negatives: Draper is a bomb scare at central defence, how many times did he have a slack pass/header? whoooaaa get him the **** out of there. Lopez needs close support, we only looked like creating anything when Vigurs came on and we went 4.4.2 with Mulombo going through the middle. Our injuries are starting to clear a bit, but no goalscorer to get fit, so what we have will be what yogi gets to work with - this is a worry. Vincent starts training tomorrow, but Josh is not ready and could still be a while. Christie started well and looks like a player, but final ball tonight was often poor, is it him or were our players not thinking on the same level? Once again the final third was a mental blockade for our players, we did not know how to get past it. Parkhead saturday, and on this form, i worry. Which means a win vs Hamilton next week is going to be a must or we will be getting set adrift.- 69 replies

Lowest wages in the SPL? County? You must be joking. Must be.... Graham is on £2.5k a week!!!
-
Aye, money talks, what would the unwashed be like without McGregors millions eh? They will be posting some loss this year.
