rory mcallister used to do great things in reserve matches... Anyway, i kind of feel sorry for shane, he's no wide player despite what butcher bums him up to be. Shane looked to be at fault for possibly 1st and definitely 3rd goal, midfielders HAVE to pick up opposition midfielders in set pieces, Shane failed to do this. Looks to me like he is low on confidence, playing out of position and possibly not enjoying his footie just now. I dont think he is an SPL footballer, but with such a small squad and no money to improve we are stuck with what we have.

Why set our sights so low? the unwashed caravan dwellers are the leeches of north football. They rely on Inverness for 80% of their business suppport, they are sending buses to Inverness to collect fans, the players all live in Inverness (or closer to sneck than dungwell) part of their signing on deal is that they get to stay in Sneck. They would be fecked if it were not for Inverness. Feck Ross county.

Its possibly a delay in making decision about buying a season tkt caused by last seasons quality or whether fans just turn up and pay on the day, either way if the team start to play a better quality and more entertaining type of football more fans will turn out. We will just have to wait and see. Oh aye... i've bought my season tkt, wee bit late but money was tight.

Yep, agree with most of the comments, but thought Draper was too slack in the first half and gave away a lot of passes, sorted hinself out a wee bit in the second half, not sure whether he is totally fit yet. Cooper was pretty good, looked assured on the ball and away very little in both positions he played. Oswell might turn out to be a great signing, made some good runs and took his goal very well, with Doran starting to look more dangerous as the game went on they could be a good pairing for next season as they linked up quite well. However the down side.... Shane is looking more and more out of place on the wing, was so ineffective today it was scary how TB could come out with his comment in the press the other day. G Shinnie is also a wee concern, looks fine going forward, but defensively is suspect and got spoken too a couple of times by Foran. Overall a good display, and i'm pretty optimistic about the coming season.

Hey its fine, and - no confusion as we will the ONLY team in the SPL wearing light blue!!!!!

1st div success is so different to SPL survival, as Dunfermline found out last season. Teams require players who can perform at a higher standard and they cost more money, bigger crowds (old firm visits) require much more policing etc. However as there has not been any club relegated and gone bust because either of the old firm have not been present in the SPL the question is hypothetical and worthy only of pure speculation.

Which confirms my belief that the 'Sporting Integrity' corporate phrase has been misused by certain people in an attempt to show fans they are important when its now becoming glaringly obvious money is more important than integrity.

There is only so far any club can go down the 'Sporting integrity' bullshit road before the 'Sporting Finance' road block happens. its the real feckin world! Money rules! Cameron may well have been led down the S.I. road by the powers of SPL SFA with the promise that Newco would be 'placed' into div 1, Now its not happened the panic starts and we will no doubt hear about re-structure - quite soon. Our finances are not 'Solely' dependant on Rangers being in the SPL but by feck they are quite obviously a big part of it and may well affect clubs in the central belt more than us. Its a feckin mess and we should bin SPL,SFA SFL and start again with one governing body.

We have been saying that Shane is pysh on the wing for a long time, i really cant believe that TB still plays him wide! its one of those things that make me think that sometimes Tel has not a clue how to get the best out of some players.

TB says in todays Pysh and Drivel thats he's aiming to sign 1 player this week, and is considering player Meekings in central defence after Warren got injured last night, Jeez i am really getting worried about the season ahead... should i be?
