?3.96 for a 4 pack in Tescos. I tried drinking 4 cans that I bought in Tescos once but I got chucked out before I could finish the 2nd tin.

?3.96 for a 4 pack in Tescos. Erm yes, but I think you'll find beer is usually more expensive in a pub (I love Fairways, love it alot, but ?3.35 for a pint of Guinness? That is going too far.)

How was the bacon roll? I was happy to find nicely-chilled cans of draught Guinness in the sports bar yesterday (?2.90). Thank you, Darren

It's open to anyone with a home ticket, regardless of where they sit. You don't access it from the Main Stand turnstiles etc; you enter via a designated door just round the corner from the shop/ticket-office, near the south stand. I think I'll go along and see The Foran officially open it today

  6. That's my take on it too, plus he was always friendly whenever I or my family approached him, for photos etc. I hope on Saturday he doesn't get any of that deeply offensive 'banter' like he got towards the end of his time with us. That was truly hellish.
  7. Yes, well done Adam I particularly liked this quote: He said: ?It is a nice achievement to score my 50th career goal. ?Throughout my whole career I have been aiming to hit that mark and I am glad I have got it out the way. Hopefully, I can double that in the next few seasons with Caley Thistle.

  10. Ahh, my first-ever away game with Caley Thistle. The day the love-affair intensified (perverse as that may be ) The day I thought 'I must do this more often...' and since then I've hardly missed a game (The coldest ever: that godawful 0-0 at Dunfermline last December. My boy was almost in tears, he was so cold. Plus I nearly skited off the M8 several times on the journey back to Glasgow afterwards. Not happy days, not at all.)
  11. I've been trying to do much the same lately. Finding reasonably-priced accommodation for Hibs away on 11th September is proving impossible. I'm guessing it'll be the same scenario for Hearts away, 18th December. Gotta keep trying though. The away days just keep getting better and better...
  12. A superb suggestion. I second that motion!
  13. Brilliant! They were obsessive about exactly how far the two big flags were hanging down, obsessive. In the end both flags were moved, even though they were in perfect spots in the first place. The support today was superb. Seeing your team stuff a 'good' team 4-0 away, and it's tee-shirt weather. It doesn't get much better than that.
  14. Perfect day out, from start to finish The Guinness in the Centenary was cold 'n' creamy. McCann's goal was unbelievable. It hardly rose at all, from the moment it was hit from 30 yards out. Whoah... beautiful! At 3-0 there was a major touch-line love-in among Terry 'n' the bench. At 4-0 it became almost dream-like. Every player played out of their skin. Take a bow, one and all.

  18. Was that the millionaire owner fella at Fleetwood? I think it was... (Am referring to the fella on the left by the way )
  19. I'm pretty sure the new sports bar is only for those holding home-end tickets. That was the case on Saturday anyway.
  20. He definitely was. Top boy!

No, there was nothing on draught. It was all bottles 'n' cans. I wasn't chuffed at ?2.80 for a can of Fosters, but I paid it. I don't see it as 'asking too much' to ask for some cans of Guinness to be stuck in the fridge either.
  22. I'm with Fleetwood Town on this one ~ you've gotta do it!

I loved the new bar. Thought it was fab. Can of Fosters, ?2.80. Appletise, ?1.20 (brilliant price). Diet coke, 90p. Bacon roll, ?1.70. I did indicate to Darren that I'd like to see draught Guinness available, even if it's in a can. If that happens, and if it's no more than ?2.80, I'll be a very happy bunny. As others have said, the room is bright 'n' airy, with a fab, huge championship celebration mural on the wall. Very nice indeed. Thumbs up to all concerned getting it set up
