Sports bar
I loved the new bar. Thought it was fab. Can of Fosters, ?2.80. Appletise, ?1.20 (brilliant price). Diet coke, 90p. Bacon roll, ?1.70. I did indicate to Darren that I'd like to see draught Guinness available, even if it's in a can. If that happens, and if it's no more than ?2.80, I'll be a very happy bunny. As others have said, the room is bright 'n' airy, with a fab, huge championship celebration mural on the wall. Very nice indeed. Thumbs up to all concerned getting it set up

Ooooh, I love the whole concept ~ brilliant!

Clach 3-4 Inverness CT (FT)
That's exactly what was playing at Grant Street last night when I arrived, around 7.15pm As others have said, Jonny got more into the game in the second-half and took his goals well. I'm a big fan of Shane Sutherland too, very strong lad who holds the ball up well. Credit where it's due, Clach's first two goals were beautifully-taken, even if they did arise out of defensive errors.

Royal Antwerp Matchday thread
You truly are the Match Report King tm4tj. Enjoyed your summary immensely, and especially concur with the above points. The Antwerp support was outstanding. Encountered a big bunch of them marching down the Longman Road around 2pm, singing loudly, throwing flares (?!) Quite a spectacle. Inside the ground they were no less impressive. Take a bow, lads Richie Foran, as ever,

Who will you be looking out for today?
Leeds were my first love, right from primary school when my Dad first took me to see them, through to following them home 'n' away out of the old second division and on to winning the league in '92, pipping ManU to the post. Beautiful. Perfect. Happy, happy days... I never thought I could give my heart to another, but after my first match at TCS in October '08 things began to develop naturally. My real memories/affiliation date from February '09 and now it's a hook, line 'n' sinker job. It's like a second marriage that is working out really, really well But yeah, I still like to see Leeds doing well, even though I could no longer name their team.

A strange day
So was I. From start to finish they were superb. The car-park carry-on was ridiculous. Usually I'm almost home by 5.15pm, but not yesterday: still hadn't got off Stadium Road. Grrrr.

Post Mortem
Agree. Would like to have given you green-dots for your Fleetwood and Stockport match summaries too but alas, I've run out for today. Succinct assessments though, both of 'em

Fleetwood - Away
How fab was that bar at the ground? Absolutely brilliant!

Elgin-Inverness 0-6 FT
Yes, the Google result issue was what confused me the most really. Thanks for clarifying things.

Elgin-Inverness 0-6 FT
I agree with you there. (I'm confused about his name. In the link to a Jewish newspaper somebody posted recently it's spelt 'Blumenshtein' yet increasingly I see it as 'Blumanshtein'. I'm assuming the former is correct... not least because there are more Google results for it with an 'e'... but I dunno...) I'm glad Sutherland's getting the credit for a hat-trick, even if Wilson did get the last touch.

Elgin-Inverness 0-6 FT
I agree about Shinnie. I think he's been excellent these last few games. Very nippy. The defence was alarmingly static at times... I thought Sutherland got a hat-trick too, but I see the Courier (on Facebook) are saying one was a Wilson o.g. Not from where I was standing, it wasn't. Rooney's goal was fab ~ hard-hit, unstoppable. First half was dreadful, plus I thought I was gonna freeze to death. (July in the north of Scotland: Dani Sanchez must wonder what the fug is going on.) Second-half clearly things improved, big-time. Even the rain relented, and the sunset on the drive home was sublime. All in all a good night. Can't afford to have too many 45 minute spells like the first-half though. We'll be slaughtered. (Richie, Richie, wherefore art thou, Richie...)

Pre-Season Friendlies / Early Season Games
I presume IHE's ongoing brussel-sprout gag is because Brussels is in Belgium, as is Antwerp... hence, it's funny (to me, anyway )

Confidence running high
Is Niculae getting married? Are we all invited? Nope we are forming a group and singing the feckin caley rap at Eurovision. What's the group called? Johndo and the Muppets? This entire exchange:

That's racism! Get outta town... it was just funny!

Foran captain
My thoughts are the rumour was true I also think Harry Chibber's probably right about it being offered to Foran as a further enticement to stay. Plus, crucially, he is a very obvious candidate for the job!

Should vuvuzelas be banned in the SPL?
A young lad had one at Forres on Saturday. He made occasional attempts at getting a noise out of it. It did not appear to be easy. The sound of one lone vuvuzela was not in the least impressive or off-putting, just kinda sad

Edit - found it. I'm finding it easier to just click on "View new content" in the top right, just below the banner. Oh, nice one! Thank you.

Never noticed until you said, so I tried to click 'like' on your post... and it 'failed' because I'd 'reached my quota for the day'.... it was my first one!!

Absolutely chuffed! Excellent decision. The right man for the job. The rehabilitation of Richie is complete

IMPORTANT: Site Downtime in coming weeks
OK, perhaps I posted too soon, as I can see now it is possible to choose several time-frames from that drop-down menu which starts at posts from the last '24 hours'... that's helpful.

IMPORTANT: Site Downtime in coming weeks
The emoticons aren't working? Oh geez. Life as I know it is over... ( ) Is it no longer possible to pull up posts 'since my last visit'? I can see how to get posts from the last 24 hours... but not 'since my last visit'... In general though the overall 'look' is fab ~ well done!
