I don't care what anyone else says. This guy is an important part of the team. He plays in the hole well. I would like to see someone else go there from our team and play better. I didn't hear anyone complaining about him today until he missed that chance. Maybe most of you need a lesson in Football. Too used to the Scottish way of playing instead of the proper way.
  2. :030: Yaaas!
  3. Because of the snow i have not been able to get to a game since Raith! And even that i could hardly see! So this snow better not bugger up the football this weekend or i will lose it. Football on the weekend is the Highlight of my week....Everything else is a lowlight. Am sure the snow won't be too bad the night I'd hate no seeing the boys for that long :001: I think I'd get Foran withdrawal symptoms :( Steady, Steady...this is a family forum :P

  5. It's in mine. Not that i ever go on it though.
  6. ******* Snow. **** off. Ruin all the ******* Football! JUST **** OFF AND LET US WATCH OUR ******* FOOTBALL YOU ****! JUST BUGGER OFF!
  7. Get in! If Egypt win it that will be the 3rd year on the trot i have won money from them winning it.
  8. I don't believe all the Media say tbh. Whilst the CL is worth a lot to the bigger clubs. I do not think that you will get 10 million or so just for getting into the group stages. In the past 5 years the Media have changed from getting 5 million, to 10, now 15! I think 5 million is more in the sector than 10 or 15. Especially for a team like Rangers or Celtic. Milan though are a big team and are worth a lot on the pitch. So they would possibly get more money.
  9. City, Midden and Celtic for me :moon2: I hate City and United, but i love seeing United lose.
  10. To be honest Pirlo and Cambiasso are pretty different to really compare. Unless you just looked at some kind of generic midfield comparison. I think they are both excellent players. Real were mad for letting Cambiasso go. Milan have little money to spend. They need a huge overhaul of their defence and a lot of their midfield. Replacing Dida would be handy as well. However the capital to do all of that isn't there. D?eko will be the main signing this summer of they can get him. Gourcuff could've been an outstanding player for them but injuries and a strained relationship with Ancelotti put paid to his Milan career. He has fairly turned it on at Bordeaux though. Check this goal out: (Can't embed the video). He is a very good player. Milan could do with him badly. If they really are so low on money, it might be a long time until we see a AC side good enough to win anything major. To think, it was not long ago they won the CL. I wasn't really trying to compaire the two. I was just trying to say that IMO, Cambiasso is the better. And i agree, Madrid are crazy to have let the lad go.
  11. Yeah, thats it. They get stronger as you go through the team, though problem is, the start is very poor.
  12. Is this the beginning of the end for our wee club? Lets hope not.
  13. DornochCaley, you rock! :022: No, you do!
  14. Damn, yes Pirlo. Can't believe i forgot him. I rate him highly though he still isn't as good as Cambiasso. I think Pato is fantastic. Though they need to keep him. The point i was trying to make was that they need to build more by spending. What really good defender have they spent decent money on recently? None that i can think of. Maybe you could correct me?
  15. Wyness is too old now. He is too old to play upfront and Sanchez is good in the hole. Mo is terrible. End of.
  16. First Italian game in a while was it? How did you know? :tonguecheek: Yes infact it was. I lost interest in Italian football a couple seasons back as it is not even a two team league.
  17. End of the day, we choose if we go to the away games or not. No one has the right to slag off another fan for not going to an away game as they do not know the reasons behind them not going. Money ect. Everyone just get on with their own knitting.
  18. In all honesty, i couldn't see Milan's midfeild and defence dealing with Inter. Cambiasso is better than any midfielder Milan have and expect Gattuso, AC do not really have a player than can work the midfeild. Clerance is getting too old and Ambrosini is not good enough to be relied on. If he has part of a four or five man midfield he might fare diffrently, but not when there is only 3. The Milan defence is bad. With all their defenders fit, they have a choice. Play a back line with the average age of about 36 or play with a defense that does not have the same quality. Not a good outlook. And unless Milan actually invest, they will not get anybetter. Who have they spent money on in their squad that is worth it? Ronadinho and Huntelaar. One of them doesn't get played as often as he should. They have too many that are near their pension. Inter will continue to dominate Italy until AC Milan spend. Juve are not the team they used to be. They have some real good players but they are weak in a couple of areas which needs looking at.
  19. It was a good game. Milan defensively are terrible. To think they back line they once had, and compaire it to now...shocking.
  20. Aimed at me or another?
  21. But thats him. Many others have families to look after ect. I have other things to pay for while money is few and far between right now.
  22. Some would say the same about us though.
  23. I hate how when you watch the OLYMPICS, the commentators still manage to put 1966 in there at some point.
  24. Ach dead leg. I get a dead leg all the time playing football. After a wee shake down, im fine to continue playing.
  25. What a load of pseudo academic bullsh1t! No... not your post JB but what the folk in that report are saying. It's painfully bleeding obvious that texting is encouraging and fostering all manner of bad practice in the use of English and I really don't have a lot of time for the ramblings of some academic whose first priority is probably to justify a piece of research in order to obtain funding from the relevant body. I would have ONE good thing to say about language practice in texting. The constraint of 160 characters (which I still stick to where possible as a relic of many years on "Pay As You Go") does help develop discipline in conveying your ideas concisely. However I probably make extra demands of myself since I am also one of these people who uses properly spelled words in grammatical sentences whilst texting. I just can't bear to see badly expressed English! But to return this thread to where it started, the Clach meeting is at 7pm on Friday in the lounge bar in the Social Club and their priority is short term cash flow - ie shekels in the coffers NOW! People that text or type like "R u comin out 2nite" **** me off. If i don't know them, i always get the feeling they are real tinks for some reason?
