  1. I mean in a competitive match. Friendlies, testimonials etc don't count.
  2. I bet he is. Oh yeah, I bet you can you can just turn up at his house, and he'll offer cake and chat away for the afternoon. Better not be gay though, or it'll be the firing squad for you. Actually, he is supposed to be a very nice man. One of the ministers who officiated at my wedding met him whilst in Havana a few years ago. They were at a "normal" function and he turned up un-announced. spent some time with folks and then left. The minister said he was very nice, knowledgeable and avuncular. It wouldn't surprise if he is a nice man, if you are on his side. The same could probably be said for people like Hitler, or Stalin, or Mussolini, or Mugabe. I could go on and on with names. They are probably fine, if you are one of them. Should you disagree with them, or have the unfortunate incident of being born with something you cannot help, like being gay in Cuba or being a Jew born in Germany during Hitler's time. You're gone. To me, any "niceness" they display, counts for nothing when they have attitudes to people like this, and shows what absolute nutcase dictators they are. People in the American army guarding Saddam when he was first caught sad he was a very nice man and what great friendliness he showed when he gassed those Kurds. :025: You know Renegade, some people on here ridicule you and the stuff you post but I couldn't agree more with everything you have just posted.
  3. :D Fair point. Who is it you support again? :P I support ICT and Liverpool and I follow Valencia. So sue me. :D
  4. Careful boys admitting supporting other teams on here will be looked on unfavourably by "The Knowledge" and he will be calling for your heads. :D
  5. So if I follow another team (as well as ICT) I'm not welcome to post on here? So by your reckoning Heilandee should not post on here, Scotty, I hope you have not been following any of the Canadian teams out there or you will not be welcome on here. Who else have we got? Oh yes, DornochCaley, you'll have to leave as well. Feb8th you're out as well. I'm sure if we went through all the posters we would lose quite a few. Now if I was following another team that comes into contact with ICT, for example Raith, County, Dundee etc I could understand your concerns but as it is very unlikely Liverpool and ICT will ever play each other I don't see the problem. They are in a different league in a different country, just like I also follow Valencia as I lived there for a few years. Again no conflict of interests as they'll never meet. It is quite common for supporters to have a "local" team and a "big" team, it doesn't mean they think any less of the local team. To finish my rant with a commont that is used often on here and I think applies to this situation. If you don't like the subject of the thread, don't read it.
  6. "How am i to know? Im 16, and i have ideas. Doesnt mean i spend my day trying to work all that stuff out. Im not even going to resort to personal abuse as i dont want this thread being closed. I would like to have a discussion about Politics, but a reasonable discussion" Firstly, nobody's abusing anybody. We are having a reasonable conversation about politics. I would just like to explore your views a bit further. Secondly, You stated that those who have should give to those who have not. I am merely asking how much we should give. If you have taken the time to arrive at the notion surely you have thought it through enough to have come up with an idea of how much we should be giving. While we're on this point, at what stage of wealth do you stop being a recipient and start becoming a donor? PS: Please stop hiding behind the I'm only 16 shyte. You're quick to come up with the spiel but as soon as someone challenges you it's "I'm only 16, how should I know"
  7. I didnt actually mean that everyone must share everything they have. I really ment that those who have nothing, should be given something. Those who have more than enough, should give. I'm sorry but I really can't fathom how you can expect people to go out to work for a living and then give a share of their earnings to someone who has sat on their ass doing nothing. Out of curiosity, what percentage of my earnings would you like me to donate to these needy people? I didnt say people that do nothing. Did i?! I said those who have nothing. I.e people that work but still dont have much. Or do those people not count. It is those people who keep our society running and whom i think should be respected the way they deserve to be. First it's people who have nothing then it's people who don't have much. You'd make a good politician. You still haven't answered my question. What percentage should I be donating to these needy people?

  9. "Right, ok then. I will get all 10 pound a week i earn from ebay as in 16, and i will gradually pay you back......Get a grip. " I see, so I should share my hard earned money with everybody but you don't have to? Surely the amount or your age is irrelevent? I think it's you who needs to get a grip......on reality.
  10. What's the point in having a non ICT forum if you can't discuss non ICT subjects? Quote from forum header "This forum is is for football discussions that are not directly related to Caley Thistle. you can talk about other teams, Internationals, other players or any other football related topics in here." What's the problem?
  11. "Too many think that they worked for their money, so why should they share it. Well they should as it is the RIGHT thing to do." So let me get this right. I should go out and work my ass off while some scrotebag sits on his ass playing his Xbox. Then at the end of the month when I get paid I should give him some of my wages. :D I'll tell you what DC, I'll be round your place later for the back pay you owe me from the last few years then.
  12. According to met office it's in all day. :D http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/he/...st_weather.html
  13. And to think I stuck up for you. Well no more my boy. "We won it 5 times, In Istanbul we won it 5 times"

  15. I read the topic title and I knew who had started it without even looking across. :tonguecheek:
  16. Now I'm no fan of Manure but everybody always gets on at their fanbase's locations I'm sure the same could be said of many of the old firm fans as well. I often see their tops being worn around Sneck and wonder if the person has even been south of Perth. BUT to be honest I don't really see the problem with supporting a team from a place you haven't been born and bred in. I was brought up in Australia and the 1st game of footy I saw was Liverpool vs somebody or other. Can't remember the score, who they played or if they even won/lost. When I returned to England I saw them and thought yep they're the team for me and have supported them ever since.
  17. Of course you were.
  18. Burn that flag and just behave yourself now Oz, you're being educated in my country now! Well, I must admit that took longer than I expected. :D
  19. "We can call ourselves Northangloland" What a good idea.
  20. And so say all of us :)
  21. and postage is only $1
  22. I see what you mean, they don't play another "top 4" side until February. Having said that neither do Manure.
  23. I go most weekends, you're welcome to tag along if you wish. Yes I know it's off topic, sorry. PM me if you want details
  24. I fly fish, does that count?
  25. Is there really any need to react like that to Feb 8 2000's post? I'm a Liverpool fan and can't stand Manure but I respect the fan's rights to support their team and post their views on here. If you don't agree say so but in a normal fashion without having a personal go at the poster. It's people like you that caused the "CTO future" thread. I think you should take a good long look at yourself and think about what you're posting before you submit it. Moderation for the masses by the masses. PS: Yes I've been to Anfield. Many times
