What is the point in military forces if you are not going to go to war? No war means they are an even bigger waste of money than they are now. I can see what you mean but if we were a peaceful nation then we would not require the forces at all and we would have billions of pounds to spend on the country. Fair point Birdog but unfortunately even if we were a peaceful nation we would still need forces to defend ourselves against the not so peaceful nations. At the end of the day, Don has suceeded in doing what he set out to. He has bought the matter of the stadium ownership to light and got everybody talking about it. Hopefully now that it is out in the open, the board may feel backed into a corner enough to come out and issue a statement. They may feel it's time to say something before any more damage can be done. I doubt it but you never know. The only down side to this is Don losing the announcer position. I'm sure though that Don would consider it a sacrifice worth making if the truth was to come out and be sorted once and for all.

I don't suppose there will be any kind of statment as to why Don was sacked. Probably not high enough up the food chain to warrant it. Surely though given that someone there reads this board they will see how much this has upset fans and at least come out with some sort of reasoning for the sacking. Then again probably not. :)

At least it shows that somebody at the club bothers to look at this site. Shame they don't pay attention to what is written here. :angry:

TM4TJ, you are of course right and for my part I am sorry. However I was merely trying to point out to some that it is easy to reply with silly little 2 or 3 word answers to have a dig at someone. Puttting a point across with valid views and facts is where the true knowledge lies.

I stated that you should not be slagging the likes of CaleyD for what he posts on here as without him (and others) you wouldn't be able to read anything at all. I then stated that if you didn't like what you read you had the choice to stop visiting the site. No mention of having to agree with what is written or not being welcome. It is obvious that we will not all have the same points of view on various subjects. There will be bunfights and p1ssing contests but I think there are certain people who should be above getting slagged off in this manner and these are the likes of Scotty and CaleyD. Now I'm not saying you have to agree with all they say because I'm sure they will bthe first to admit that they are not always right. What I'm saying is that if you don't agree with them, post your view on here with your reasons without slagging them off. Before somebody reads this to mean that I think it's ok to slag everybody else off. I DON'T, it's just as I've mentioned without these particular few, the masses would be very bored. So I think a little extra respect is called for. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

You have hit the nail on the head there caleytillidie. Lately it has become more and more tiresome coming on here and reading CaleyDs constant negativite posts with regard to our club. He keeps mouthing on about this 'negative mood' surrounding the fans, Im sorry but where is this coming from? Exactly what you say.. It is people like him that are creating this. I thought your initial post was spot on and I completely agree with the point you made. I too was down at Airdrie on Saturday and it was a pretty poor show that only 50-60 odd fans bothered their arses to turn up to support the team. Yes the time of the month, money reasons etc obviously played a part, but we should expect a better turnout than that. Wooooaaahhhh boy, If it wasn't for people like CaleyD you wouldn't have a site to go to. If you don't like what you read, simple don't come on here.

Calleytillidie, I agree with your post in general. I think what has upset a few is the "No doubt you will all be out for the kilmarnock game though cos its a bigger team. That would be typical of our support " remark. It does seem to paint everybody with the same brush. I'm sure you meant no harm and it's just a case of wording the post a little different.

When I was about 15 years old I lived in South Africa for a while. While I was there I was witness to a ouija board session. It was just some friends, my mate's girlfriend and her parents. They started with the usual questions, nothing exciting happening. Then my mate's G/F asked who he really loved, it came out with another girls name. The problem was: 1.
