January transfer window.
With us still being firmly in the relegation mix, with Storey being a little out of sorts as far as goal scoring is concerned and Fisher suffering his unfortunate and possibly long term injury it is vital that we pull out all the stops to bring in an experienced striker before the window slams shut.

Inverness CT -V- Partick Th
As well as being a club stalwart who was instrumental in securing SPL football for us in the first place, he is developing into a very competent summariser. I know that you leap to the defence of the manager and his tactics come what may but he has a very valid point and Saturday's poor and uninspiring fare was a prime example of it. Two questions; Do you not think that Barry is better placed to comment on the style of play being at the stadium week after week than you are sitting at home listening on the radio and posting snide comments on the match day thread ? Secondly, why on earth would the player who was so fond of the club that he came back for a second spell and dropped down a division and took a salary cut into the bargain have cause for 'sour grapes' ? Did Barry once steal your parking space ?

That would, in the short term, be a good move for Ali, for Elgin and ultimately for ICT.

Especially if we could manage to secure them both for a couple of seasons.

I hope we at least made the effort...

We are indeed but this is a football forum where fans are encouraged to express a view and not an alter to worship uncritically at the Shrine of St John The Faultless...

Interesting....not even the happy clapping club can do no wrong brigade are leaping to defend the catering......

Could it be that, although nobody can or would want to deny his successes, he is not infallible and is prone to some significant and sometimes costly misjudgements ?

January transfer window.
We will have received a payment in excess of £80,000 as a result of SKY's somewhat surprising decision to broadcast the Stirling Albion replay. That's a sum that we would not have been expecting or budgeting for. We are a long way yet from being clear of the threat of relegation via the play off spot in a very tight section of the league. I sincerely hope that before the window closes we will use that windfall to bring in a quality addition to the squad to give us an edge over those sides around us.

January transfer window.
The real question is not whether Aidan Connolly would come to us but whether we would want to take a risk on a player who can't hold down a place in the very worst side in the league and who has scored one single first team goal in over thirty first team appearances over three seasons ?

January transfer window.
Might attach more credibility to it if and when it appears in a newspaper.

Pies
Some have an obsession with supermarket cafes whilst for others the pie and hot beverage has long been and always will be part of the match going experience. We are well aware that pastry encased meat and gravy has few health giving qualities. All the more reason why the experience should be as pleasurable as possible.

The price would not be an issue for me if the quality was decent.

This thread simply demonstrates how ill advised the manager's public comments are. Here we are speculating which of our players may be malingering rather than all pulling together.

Over priced and understocked. Just how often to they run out of staples even before the end of the half time interval....

I believe that our catering is franchised out to the company which provides catering for a number of Scottish grounds for which the club receive an annual payment which is a pity as I agree that the fare is mediocre at best. The best pies in the various leagues are provided by local suppliers and Killie and County are indeed good examples of this. I note that the club do not inflict the mass produced rubbish on corporate supporters where delicious MacDougal and Haistie pies are the order of the day. I don't know what the commercial advantage is to the club or when the contract is due for renewal but a half time snack one could look forward to with relish and anticipation rather than merely to heat you up and fill your belly would certainly improve the match day experience.

About twenty five years worth, you ?

Surely if there is an issue it needs to be dealt with in private. Very poor man management in my view.

Joint Statement Regarding Pyro at Matches
Absolutely...these youngsters are the future....they should be encouraged and assisted to do anything that doesn't break the criminal law, risk sanctions for the club and put themselves and others in danger...
-
Joint Statement Regarding Pyro at Matches
All for atmosphere, jubilation and loyal support, all for real terrace highs even without the terracing all of which can be provided by signing, flags, banners and, god forbid, even those annoying drums. These 'pyros' are illegal for a reason. They can and have severely injured people. It's bad enough these daft kids defending them but you really are old enough to know better.

Joint Statement Regarding Pyro at Matches
If by 'banter' you mean bile, hateful sectarian abuse or casual racism then I'm afraid I can't agree.
-
Joint Statement Regarding Pyro at Matches
Surely you don't have any sympathy with these idiots who ignore the law, risk sanctions against the club and, most seriously, risk injuring their fellow fans. Sing your head off but leave those dangerous devices far away from any football ground....

Highland Hospice share transfer
Nobody buys shares in any Scottish football club with a view to a financial return but out of love for the club and/or the community it represents and that is entirely as it should be.

Contract Situation
We have done pretty well with that set up up until now and, when called upon, Ryan has never let us down.

Contract Situation
Esson remains a very competent 'keeper in his own right and him fulfilling the role of both goalkeeper, first or second choice, and coach makes sound financial as well as sporting sense. Three experienced 'keepers on the wage bill is a luxury we don't need and frees up a salary elsewhere.
