  1. Will be playing twice a week during March. Could be tough.
  2. Would be a good appointment for Dundee. Will be interesting to see how he does with a full time squad.
  3. I don't think you can appeal a sending off for two yellows which is a pity as, after seeing the highlights, it's clear that Warren's second yellow wasn't even a foul far less a booking. Meekings was harsh but he did stupidly kick out with the ball nowhere near. Unlikely to be successfully appealed.
  4. I wonder if we'll get more than the usual four and a half minutes of highlights on Sportscene ?
  5. What do you mean ALMOST superhuman ?
  6. On reflection, maybe we should stick with Brill. Maybe he'll cope.....
  7. I know it was on their doorstep but St Mirren took 17,000 to this final last year. I think we will take at least 8,000. The success starved Dons will take over 25,000 and possibly more. There may even be the odd neutral if it's sensibly priced so I reckon a crowd of circa 40,000 so Easter Road will be far to small. Celtic Park is probably too big so that leaves Ibrox. Will make a pleasant change to go there without the cretinous normal occupants singing their 'folk songs'.
  8. That was magnificent. To come from a goal and two men down to victory was titanic. It was effectively 9 men against 13 when you factor in the referee and Hearts 'home' advantage. I have had the misfortune to witness far too many poor refereeing performances in well over four decades of watching football but today's was quite the worst yet still we prevailed. Extra time was surreal. We were two men light yet were never seriously threatened. Testament to the energy and commitment of the players and the organisation of the coaching staff. Whilst Billy McKay may not have been at his clinically finishing best, I thought he was tireless today running for 120 minutes ploughing a lone furrow up front in extra time and still having the energy to blast an unstoppable penalty. An emotionally drained but immensely proud Caley Jaggy.... Hometown boy Nick Ross, whatever else you go on to do in your career you are now forever part of ICT folklore. A bold statement but given where we were after 94 minutes, this, in my view, is an even greater feat than Parkhead February 2000.
  9. We can complain about the date, the time and the venue but we can't legitimately complain about the ticket allocation as we got more than enough to satisfy our needs.
  10. With Aberdeen in the final, the revenue that will generate is even more incentive to get a result tomorrow.
  11. February and I'm delighted that our 'average' prolific striker is still in the building..
  12. We can't really complain about the allocation since we didn't sell it out. One more sleep

If true, that is much more concerning.

Naive but he's young. No great harm done and no doubt he's learned a lesson.

Not sure. But I'll get in early and say that in every one of our games which he has refereed this season he has made numerous glaring errors which benefited the opposition. Also, he is probably biased against Highland teams as he resents having to travel up here for the same amount of money he would have got for reffing a game in the Central Belt. It is his fault if we lose. To be honest, I don't think any referees are prejudiced against Highland teams. It's just the a lot of them aren't very good.
  16. Maybe, just to be on the safe side, Yogi could stick him in the boot of his car just until midnight tomorrow.
  17. I need to lie down. I too agree with Dougal !
  18. I appreciate it's very much a minority interest but congratulations to Scotland's cricketers for qualifying for next year's World Cup in the Antipodes.
  19. This year's Ngoo ?
  20. Whichever way you look at it we're short of a back up forward.
  21. Hearts undefeated in the last three and with back to back wins. Their most recent form is better than ours.
  22. The nerves are justified on a number of counts. There is no getting away from our dreadful semi final record. Hearts, like last year have been gifted what is virtually a home tie. Hearts have hit a run of form just at the right time whereas we are on our worst run of form for two seasons. Am I nervous about Sunday ? You bet I am.
  23. I think he burned his bridges with ICT with his comments.
