Ryan Stevenson availability for semi.
I'm looking forward to it but worried so e getting wayyyy too cocky. For hearts the league is a goner and this is all they've got left. However, if we play the way we can there shouldn't be anything to worry about? Yip. This will be Hearts last opportunity to do anything at all this season and they will be dangerous highly motivated opponents not to be taken lightly.

Sounds like a strong finish. Well done to the lads.

Aberdeen V Inverness C.T.
Good point. I wonder whether he is a bit unsettled by all the speculation. Normally, he would have put away at least one of those chances he got on Saturday. The sooner the window closes the better.

Strengthen during transfer window?
Agree. We are now well covered in all positions apart from attack. Need to bring a forward in by the end of the month.

Wouldn't have said so a year ago but I think G Shinnie is a better player than his brother. A travesty he's not in the Scotland squad but a few more performances like that and Strachan will find it impossible to continue to overlook him.

No negativity at all. Even us Hughes sceptics are willing him to succeed and today is a sign he just might and with Latapy coming on board hopefully we will all be eating and relishing our humble pie soon.

Impending Selection Head Ache
We will have the luxury of selecting horses for courses varying our selection according to the opposition as well as having cover for ongoing injuries and suspensions.

Greg Tansey
Pure speculation but maybe he enjoyed Inverness and ICT but didn't relish plating under Butcher hence the reason he's back now.

Paul Hartley
Paul Hartley has today resigned as manager of Alloa. Something in the pipeline I wonder ? With his Hearts connection and knowledge of the league they will be playing in next season, I wonder if he's being lined up to replace Gary Locke at Tynecastle. Certainly won't be out of work for long.

BBC Alba
BBC Scotland. A pathetic bunch of amateurs.

Aberdeen V Inverness C.T.
Best performance and result in the post Butcher era. The whole team played well. Williams had his best game to date even if he did fade a bit in the second half. Fantastic save from Brill who looked much more assured than of late. Tansey looked the part when he came on and the manager will have a real headache in deciding who to omit once all our midfielders are fit and free of suspension. Best of all was watching with Dons fans in hospitality where I failed to keep the broad grin off my face..

Rich owner/backer?
Yip. Still chipping away at them.

Team for Aberdeen (A)
Great news if Vincent is back.
-
Greg Tansey
Yes. He was clearly a talented young player with potential. He was maybe a bit over confident and perhaps not as good as he thought he was. He could maybe have worked a bit harder for the team but that was then and this is now. He is back because he chose to come back. He could have sat out his more lucrative contract with Stevenage where he was playing regularly. Young players mature and learn from past mistakes. He's only just back in the door. Give him a chance.

Back to the game. Feeling a bit more confident about this now that we have the experience of Tansey to bolster our depleted midfield. He will no doubt be out to impress in his first match back.

put up or shut up for Billy Mackay
I agree that a million would be the tipping point for parting with Billy this transfer window.
-
Contract Situation
Encouraging that only two first team regulars are now out of contract at the end of this season.
-
Greg Tansey
Happy to oblige. He has been playing regularly so is match fit. Given our injuries and suspensions, I would be happy to see him in the starting XI tomorrow.

Rich owner/backer?
Two macaroni pies and a Mars Bar in return for my five million.

Rich owner/backer?
Much better and safer in the long run for clubs to live within their means.

Rangers go into administration
You know, I have a vague notion that ICT pay their employees including players on time and in full. I suspect that we also have a tendency to forward PAYE Income Tax and National Insurance contributions deducted to HMRC. Don't see how you are even suggesting we may be in the same boat as either Hearts or The Rangers.

Rangers go into administration
It is quite clear now that Charles Green's 'business plan' was simply to make a substantial short term gain for Charles Green and his cohorts. The fact that fans of the two clubs using the Rangers name could sleepwalk from the mismanagement of David Murray to the criminality of Craig Whyte and then to the personal greed of Charles Green just because they all humoured their prejudices speaks volumes about the hoards who follow follow. Celtic too are bigots but at least they have the virtue of being financially prudent bigots.

Strengthen during transfer window?
Probably too similar in style and stature to Billy.
