  1. Given that the club is a business, and that even a thousand extra fans at the match would generate a fifth of the TV income, the preference has to be for TV. Diehard fans will go anyway.
  2. So I believe. If SKY show the replay it's likely to be moved forward to Monday.
  3. It would be shameful if a tie between two lower league teams was selected ahead of a clash between two top six Premiership teams.
  4. Good financial incentive to beat Stranraer. Home tie and tie of the round if it's ourselves so almost certain to be selected for TV.
  5. Rangers v Albion Rovers. Quelle suprise !
  6. If it's what the TV paymasters want we will have no choice. Two games in three days it would be but I'm inclined to think that the game won't be attractive to SKY who are likely to give it a miss.
  7. Will be based on weight of money more than form.
  8. Always the potential to bring it forward and fill a slot on Monday.
  9. They have the right to show a replay but are not contractually obliged to. If we end up being the only replay we may well get that financial windfall but there's no guarantee.
  10. If both cup finalists have already qualified for Europe through the league then fourth in the league will also qualify for the Europa League.
  11. I hope the players don't go into the replay with the attitude that we are bound to win.
  12. Well, what do you think ?Shared proceeds of a 1,200 crowd on a dreich February evening...
  13. Yes, just over £80,000 if it's televised which it may be as it's the only replay so far but, if tomorrow's tie between Dundee United and St Mirren ends all square that is likely to be a more attractive option for broadcasters.
  14. Could have been worse. Tempering any disappointment with the thought that there are 7 Premiership sides who would happily swap places with us right now.
  15. Doesn't get any better. Going to be a real test of fitness. Really need to avoid too many suspensions.
  16. Sensibly, for once, taking place immediately after the Dundee United St Mirren tie tomorrow. Fortunate to be in it and certainly not taking anything for granted as far as the replay is concerned but this is another competition now wide open. If we manage to beat Stranraer I wouldn't mind a home tie against any of the many lower league teams left in.
  17. Kingsmills replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
So that's where Craig Whyte and Charles Green have gone...he's eaten them both...
  18. Maybe so but any Invernessians who normally support Celtic, or anyone else for that matter, are more than welcome to lend their support at the final. Who knows, we might even get a few converts.
  19. Except we are not just Caley ...
  20. Erm, we were the home side on Sunday. Yeh...and your point is ?....
  21. Wouldn't you just love to open up on them match officials? Suspended from CTO pending a full investigation
  22. Do we get the grand back because the appeal was upheld? Yes
  23. Surprised but delighted. Would have been cold comfort though if our nine men had been overcome in extra time due to the ref's incompetence. Credit though for the appeal system working and for the ICT fan who apparently put up the grand for the appeal.
  24. Unless he wins his appeal today Meekings will be suspended.
  25. Good. As you say, concise and accurate....
