If he's fit to play full time football only one division below the SPL why on earth did he not play when we were in dire need of an experienced striker due to his decision not to sign/retain one ! Maybe if he'd played alongside Barrowman or Rooney we wouldn't be propping up the league just now.

The sad fact is that, just at the moment, there aren't 16-18 Highland born players good enough to form a squad capable of holding their own in the SPL.

I know and work with a lot of Aberdeen fans. Very few have anything positive to say about Byrne's time at Pittodrie but that Doesn't mean thaty we shouldn't give him a chance to redeem himself at ICT. Many others have done so before him..

I would disagree. Whilst the Baltacha season was no fun ..... Craig Brewster is the least succesfull ICT manager. and even less fun......

Like Foran, match fitness is likely to be an issue, we don't really have the luxury of allowing him a month playing in the reserves to get up to speed. John Collins has an eye for a playerv and the fact that he saw fit to sign him for Hibs is encouraging.
