  1. On the contrary, thank you. Those two points could well save me from propping up the table come the end of the season given my track record in this competition
  2. Things have not worked out for Manny as either he or we would have wished when he first arrived but, in my view, that is incredibly harsh and unjustified.
  3. Much more of this and we will all be hitting the bottle and all adopting your username!
  4. Is the crowd not reported as 2,111 ?
  5. The conjecture was that he and the players who would normally be in the matchday squad who were missing were self isolating.
  6. This inability to play decently in both halves of any match has gone from frustrating to deeply damaging. Worse still, our chronic and worsening inability to hold on to a lead has, almost certainly, already cost us the chance of automatic promotion and if this collective flaw in the psyche of the team and coaching staff is not resolved soon it could well cost us a play off spot as well come the end of the season. Against the bottom team in the division, who are bottom for a reason, this is deeply deeply disappointing and frankly wholly unacceptable.
  7. Comfortable in the first half but vital we hold onto this lead given that Kilmarnock, Raith Rovers and Partick are all winning comfortably.
  8. To be fair, when you have so many sources of income it's easy to forget two or three.
  9. Congratulations to Steve Clarke and the lads on qualifying for the play offs. This Scotland side are still a long way from being world beaters but finishing second in the group is an achievement that looked beyond us only a few months ago but, with five consecutive victories with limited resources, we have clearly made progress. Can we now go on to take something at Hampden againt a Danish side so far imperious in the group ? A point on Monday, better still all three, will improve our chances of being one of the seeded teams giving us home advantage against potentially slightly weaker opponents. A good night tonight but more work to do. Being a Scotland fan is not quite the ordeal it used to be.
  10. Makes sense, if you are a Fife team in danger of being relegated from the Championship, appoint a manager with a track record of getting Fife tesms relegated from the Championship.
  11. HT; ICT 1, Dunfermline 0 FT; ICT 3, Dunfermline 1 ICT; Gardyne Dunfermline; O'Hara Crowd; 2,078
  12. As Robert says, far from easy but these are the sort of games we must win, especially at home, if we are going to maintain a serious title challenge.
  13. Same. Whilst it would have been nice to have a freebie for the next virtual visit to Somerset Park, £5 seems reasonable compensation for the interuption suffered.
  14. The only lawyers I can think of with infinite time and resources are those Conservative MPs practicing law out of their Westminster offices and charging £600 an hour for time that they are already getting very well paid for which should be devoted to serving their constituents. Are you listening Geoffery Cox ?
  15. They have no legal obligation to make a gesture but surely they have a moral one and the goodwill they would generate should also be a consideration.
  16. I might have missed mine. I was out when the telegram boy rang the bell this afternoon.
  17. Me too but I agree that, while it is good that something is happening now, an acknowledgement and apology on Saturday would have been better.
  18. Reurned to the main forum after the pleasing news that Dave's return is no longer a rumour.
  19. I am sure that absolutely everyone connected to the club will get behind him and support him after his personal tragedy. That's what the ICT family have a proud record of doing despite any differences we may otherwise have. I am equally sure that his eventual return to first team action will be a tremendous boost to our promotion campaign.
  20. As expected, Scotland end their participation in the tournament with a heavy defeat to Pakistan who have, thus far, been imperious in the group. No disgrace in that. However, they will be ruing the fact that they were outplayed in every fixture. Particularly disappointing will be the heavy defeats to Afghanistan and Namibia who, on their day, they are well capable of beating. Looking forward to the semi finals now being contested by the four best teams in the group stages any one of whom could win the trophy.
  21. I was impressed with Duku when he first arrived and was convinced he would make a very positive impact. Now I see why he never seems to last more than a season at any club.
  22. That too would seem to be a reasonable goodwill gesture.
  23. I am a lawyer and, in all probability, harsh as it seems, that clause would probably be upheld. However, I do think it would be a reasonable goodwill gesture from Ayr to refund maybe £8
