  1. I would have been surprised if Cowie hadn't wanted to kep his options open at this stage but he's a Highland lad who seems generally content with the club so I don't think we should assume that he will be off at the end of the season by any means.
  2. Our midfield is no concern whatsoever but we need a reliable centre half and an experienced forward, of which we now have precisely none, as a matter of the utmost priority.

I too agree with IHE'S first post on this thread.
  4. One of the very best sports journalists of all time. His contributions whether in print, on television or on radio were always worth paying attention to even if he did speak out against Caley Thistle's admission to the league.
  5. If Ian Black is keen to stay then the club should get into serious negotiations with him straight away. His best years are ahead of him.
  6. We need a forward player with some more experience than the current crop at the club.
  7. As child it was breakfast, dinner and supper. We had a later evening snack we referred to as "bed time tea". Now it appears to be breakfast, lunch and tea (although tea becomes dinner if we're eating out.) If we have a snack later in the evening it's referred to us supper. I suspect the the difference is that I was brought up in and around Inverness and now reside in Aberdeenshire so that there's a difference in local vernacular.
  8. We need, as a mater of urgency before the season starts, an experienced and reliable central defender as well as at least one forward with a track record of playing and scoring at SPL level or the equivalent.
  9. If the other 10 clubs present a united front then the Old Firm will have no alternative other than to back down.
