  1. The final is live on BBC 2 AT 6.55 pm on saturday.
  2. I don't think that we need to regard the SKY payments as an extraordinary item any more. While it wouldn't be prudent to budget for such payments I would like to think that we could now aspire to feature once or twice a season.
  3. Their turnover will still be twice ours. I doubt if they show a profit though.
  4. The two live SKY matches would certainly have helped.

    Fox to Livi

Livingston's interest in Fox has been common knowledge for weeks, the only real question is whether or not it will be a loan deal.
  6. The club have reported a pre tax profit of£220,000 for the financial year to 31st May. Turnover is up from £2,741,738 to £3,262,813. A top six finish this season or a cup final, preferably both, could see turnover of four million pound next time around.
  7. Robson would have to take a very substantial pay cut indeed to fit back within our pay structure. I can't see him agreeing to that in the prime of his career.
  8. I was at that game, definately Alford Aberdeenshire rather than Alford Lincolnshire. Anyway isn't Ryedale Park in Scotland which would take the Gretna results out of the equation ?
  9. Brewster should simply take stock.
  10. As nobody has yet started a word association thread on this site I thought that I might as well. Piano.
  11. They were certainly very poor against a Man. United XI.
  12. I have to say that despite the notorious " We're Top Of The League" thread TJE is usually fair and reasonable when posting on this site. Many of the comments he makes have at least some merit.
  13. Was there not an agreement whenwe first joined the SFL that, in the interests mainly of Clach, that we wouldn't enter a team in the Highland League ?
  14. One potato, two potato.........
  15. Maybe the future for Scottish international football is not so bleak after all.
  16. According to today's Press & Journal, Fort William FC are at serious risk of being unable to start the season due to funding and organisational problems. There is a suggestion that Turriff United may be waiting in the wings to take their place in the Highland League. I know that the Fort are not one of the league's traditional established teams but their demise would be a huge setback for football in that shinty stronghold. Their replacement by yet another Aberdeenshire team would see the axis of the Highland League move east yet again to the point where the prefix Highland is becoming somewhat of a misnomer. Surely here is a team in the populous part of Easter Ross with sufficient ambition to want to challenge Turriff for any vacancy which may unfortunately arise.
