First match at Fortress Longman; Scottish Cup replay against Stanraer which we were fortunate to win on penalties. First ICT SPL match; 2-0 victory over Dunfermline at Pittodrie featuring a Juanjo roll. First Scottish Cup Final; predicted 2-1 victory over Rangers at Hampden this coming season.

Both Strathclyde and Lothian police, which would be the forces mainly concerned, have indicated that they don't have the resourses to police matches regularly on friday evenings.

I wonder whether the ongoing criminal investigationa will have any influence on their pre season arrangements ?

Not a great fixture list from a financial point of view. There are four teams who can be relied on to produce sell outs or near sell outs, namely; Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts. We only play one of these teams at home twice before the split which will cost the club tens of thousands of pounds in revenue.

This will likely be Darren's last major contract. It's not surprising to learn that he hasn't taken the club's first offer. It's encouraging, however, to hear that negotiatioins are still going on.
