Partick Thistle -V- Inverness CT - Play Off 2nd Leg - Preview
Great attitude to turn the game around with a goal and a superb assist from the Player's Player of the Year who, on that form, would hold his own in the Premiership next season. The injury to Walsh is a concern as is the non appearance of McGregor in the squad. Hopefully both will be available again soon if not in time for the second leg. What wonderful backing from the 'twelfth man (and woman) who outsang the home fans even when we were behind. No room for complacency, the job is only half done, but that was a big step towards the next round. An equally commited team backed by a large and vocal crowd now has every chance of completing the job on Friday evening. Can hardly wait.

Memorial Wall
The sad recent passing of Stewart Anderson has got me thinking about the many characters who set out on this epic journey with us the best part of 3 decades ago who are no longer with us perhaps other than in spirit and fond memory. I wonder whether it might be appropriate to create a memorial wall either within the stadium or on the concorse to remember them subject of course to the consent of their families and those closest to them. As the years pass it is inevitable that more will pass including former players, coaches and directors as well as well kent faces and voices among the crowd. Would it not be fitting to mark their association with the club in some dignified and permanent manner?

Fort William
What has happened to the Fort is very unfortunate and deeply sad. However, that statement reeks of paranoia. Wick is a much further journey for almost all Highland League clubs and nobody is persecuting them. Instead of wallowing in self pity the Fort need to get organised, do something about that dreadful pitch and win back their Highland League status on the football field. Even in shinty county the second largest community in the Highlands could and should do better.

The Run In
The league Cup final at Parkhead was a huge match watched by the largest ever crowd in our history. The next year at Hampden was an even bigger game with a fantastic outcome. However, as far as the medium and long term future of our club is concerned, neither was as important as the potentially half dozen matches to come. We can do it but to do so everyone from management, coaches, players and us fans needs to be fully committed and on or close to top form. Assuming that, Partick, Arbroath, and St Johnstone should be fearing us rather than vice versa. It's now about mental strength and belief as much as fitness and ability.

Paul Cherry Medal Raffle In Aid Of Dnipro Kids
Ditto. I will be happy if any ICT fan has won, especially if the medal eventually finds it way back to Paul. A 4 figure sum going to an extremely worthy cause. Well done to Paul and to all who purchased tickets.

Players need to have a LONG HARD look at themselves.
Certainly our most important battle with Partick since their court action to attempt to deprive us of our first promotion to the top tier. Unlikely that Lord Brodie will be Refereeing this time but let's hope for a similar outcome.

You have just offended half the population of Nairn 😁

Players need to have a LONG HARD look at themselves.
Great start to the regular season, fantastic finish. What a pity about the dramatic slump in the middle without which our players would be heading to the beach right now looking forward to playing in the Premiership next season. The trip to the seaside will have to be delayed but that ambition is still well and truly alive.

Can't argue with that. Revealing to see how highly the players rate Shane.

Hamilton Match
It appears that Hamilton were not quite as concerned about maintaining the gap over Morton as you were.

I admit that I was dubious when I saw the relatively unchanged starting line up but, as it turned out, we got the job done in the first half hour enabling us to coast and use our full compliment of substitutes for the remaining 2 thirds of the game. I have often been critical of the manager's team selection tactics and substitutions, or absence of them, this season. However, this evening he got all three spot on allowing us to progress to the play offs full of momentum and confidence having ended our non winning record against Accies in the most emphatic manner without busting a gut in the process. It won't be easy but this is our best prospect of promotion since relegation and we have put ourselves in a strong position to grasp it. Come on the Caley Jags !

World Cup 2022
The higher they build themselves up before a ball is kicked the greater the height from which they will fall.

Hamilton Match
I agree. We need at this stage to be doing what is best for our club and it's prospects of promotion. Our only obligation is to field a team and fulfill the fixture.
