  1. Just read Derek Adans "In my View" report in the P & J. This man needs either a ghost writer or an english O grade. It sounds like a primary six pupil writing What I did on my holiday type story. The only bit that`s missing is him saying that it was a big boy what did it and ran away. Juvenile does not cover this piece of literary genius!
  2. DA s comments at the end made the day oh so special.... "2minutes of extra time and they scored in the 3rd minute " quoth he. " No its was 3 mins extra time Derek" Quoth the boy. Classic. If Carlsberg made twats they lost the mould when they dreamnt that lad up. .What a greetin faced bairn he s proving to be. Spat the dummy right out .. He s special ! Hear no evil see no evil etc etc !!
  3. That was a great night. Both teams pretty much keech for most of the first half...Aberdeen even more than us....then the second half! Think we should take 25 minute half times from now on. For the first 10 mins Aberdeen were all over us like a cheap suit then erse kick time and we were away.. We could and should have won by two or even three, the chances we had, but who cares. Totally brilliant. The reaction of TB at the end was fantastic. Directing the fans then indicating being top of the league and fist to the badge, shows what it really meant to him. Epic. Bring on the County!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Is it right that Neil Alexander was Man of the Match ?
  5. Just had a look at that deal.. Its a cracking deal a full on day and night out.
  6. I ll be there plus 4 or 5 Arabs I ve roped in as ICT supporters for the night.
  7. Good to see the supporters being able to stand through the game and not get the stewards nipping their heads. Looked over to the County end and no yellow jackets were around them. The way it should be. And that helped too.
  8. Mate of mine is an Arab and becasue the recent derby was a sell out the club asked any season ticket holders that wouldnt make the game to volunteer their seats so the club could sell them. Seems perfectly sensible. Empty seats sold for £20 -£25 a head may not set the heather alight but might make a few extra quid.
  9. Great draw. My wee team. Live 6 miles from stadium. Great place to watch footie. Got season ticket for the Lichties as well as the Mighty Caley. Not as good a team as they were last season. Sheerin not what he was in the good old days and theyve lost Josh to Dunfermline and Swankie to Forfar. Their best players . Should be a good night and we should win. Should ..............and braw fish suppers..
  10. Bought my 2 season tickets and sponsored a player. Will probably be able to use the tickets 3 to four times a season but the club needs all the support it can get and if that helps I m happy to do what I can.
  11. Thats statement was the longest tourettes outburst on record. There are times when saying nowt is most certainly the right idea. Yesterday was one of those times.
  12. Great news....Great lad and I m sure will make a worthy Chairman. Have to have big feet to fill George Fraser shoes though! Good luck Kenny.
  13. CAnna make up my mind whether its the" Divison One Dougie Imrie" or the "Your not Famous anymore to Aberdeen"......both sheer genius
  14. Just got to a computer now after going to that game on Saturday. Living down in Dundee and having to meet Arabs on Sunday morning was not the best experience. What has happened to the silky footie they had to endure when we were last down ? Heedless chickens. Duff well named...He was shocking! Eric ...similar. Why was he kept on for so long ? Grant Munro does not look comfortable at left back. Thought Rossco had a reasonably good game and why was he booked??. We had a perfect view of it and it was clean as the preverbial. We were lacklustre in just about everything we did especially going forward. Hoofing it up the park at any opportunity. Didnt start playing until 20 minutes from the end. Only good thing was that Johnny Hayes seemd to be fired up and starting to get back to his old ways. Hope it continues, but the rest looked like they need a shake from the management. Let us pray for better things to come.
  15. I ll be there plus 1, 2 or maybe 3 Where s the beer being taken ?
  16. I d definately be up for talking more pish than I do about one of my favouritist subjects. No boogger listens to me about ICTFC down in Dumpdee. Especially if they are supporters of the Dark Blue contingent . They seem to hold a grudge about something. For the life of me I cant think why. Logical intelligent conversation would be most welcome.
  17. Lennon is just a natural pr1ck. I m sure the incident with Juanjo was that he made out he had been elbowed in the face by the wee man. No contact made at all. Red card was recinded but was Lennon hauled over the coals for cheating? Was he f00k. Did his manager, as he promosed to do, deal harshly with the player if it was found out that he had cheated ? Gues what the answer to that one is. Answer on a postcard. He a whinging pr1ck as well as being natural
  18. Great game. Great banter and on reflection a great result. We played some fantastic confident football especially in the first half. Fantastic defending in the second. Thats a good Hearts side. Agree with what everyone says about Templeman. He was worryingly good against us. I was bumming him up to my Hearts mate on the way to the game. Must have been the kiss of death for him. Last fifteen my erse wiz knitting socks, but we held out. Happy .
  19. What would be more just, would be that if after the game the ruling body was to punish players who they could easily identify players, via video, who had deliberatly dived. Shouldnt be difficult. Lets wait for that to happen ! Aye right .
  20. Russell Duncan s against Utd and the two goal v Hearts in the cup. And that overhead master piece by Roscoe V United. Total class.
  21. Me and better half staying over in Edinburgh... Praying for good weather. Think she might be under the misapprehension that we re going shopping on saturday. Wrong.....
  22. Anybody coming through from Dundee, meet for a livener before going to Perth ?
  23. For the likes of the us living down South is there any pick ups in Perth and drop back off ? Would be good to meet up and join rather than making our own way there.
