From what I can see in the picture it looks like the defender is denying a clear goal scoring opportunity so a red card could be given, but it is never a penalty.

To be fair it looks a tight call but free kick should have been the awarded. was a red card given for last man tackle?

Never rated him, could be wrong but think he might be a county fan too? When he was released I heard he was trying to join the police. Out of our youths around then tony low and Lewis mackinnon seemed far better.

Ended up choosing Hurlford, thought the odds were still pretty decent for them. Auchinleck Hurlford Formartine Utd Wick Bo'ness Sadly it was Wick that let me down even though they were 1-0 up. No real surprises today. All Junior sides done well with Culter and Banks O'dee proving they are more than capable of playing in the HL. I'm calling for them to open up the trap door in the HL and let in the North Juniors. Where did you get the scores? BBC website is useless and LL site only has relevant clubs. Hurlford have a lot of money behind them At the moment and are doing well because of that. I think hurlford are favourites but maybe not quite as much as they should be. It will be tough and for that reason I fancy putting money on clach.

Barry Wilson resigning was brilliant. But as he was here before it isn't a real coup I suppose.

I was impressed when mark brown signed. I thought he was a decent player and Motherwell were foolish to release him. Niculae is probably the most famous though.

Over the years we have been well known for reigniting the spark in players who have lost their way or have been out injured for a while. We have also signed a lot of players who were completely unknown and used us as a stepping stone to other clubs but how many of our signings over the past few years have been big name players? I was just trying to think of players who we signed and thought wow we done well getting him. Who is our biggest "name" signings. David Bingham and Juanjo was the first big signings we made for me, when Robbo brought them in i finally thought we were stepping up to the next level in terms of signing players. Curious to know what other peoples opinions are.

Its tough, i used to think Rooney but now i think its pretty much equal. I'm just going on who i was happiest with when they were here. TBH though both of them have had some terrible droughts during their time here and considering they scored so much they could both have done even better. I think Rooney scored 1 goal in Feb and never scored again in his final season but he still managed to end up with somewhere around 20 goals.

It certainly strengthens Falkirk, I think Tudor Jones would have done well at Hibs if he was given a proper shot at it. Too much chopping and changing has happened at Hibs over the past 2 seasons and i think they have got rid of the wrong guy.

International recognition is surely not a measure of a player's worth? Graeme Shinnie is in a different league, ability wise, to Thierry Gathuessi. Both current/former full-backs for ICT. Shinnie's not yet been recognised at full international level, whilst Gathuessi is 'international class' as you would put it! Did I mention Shinnie ??? Did he say you did? I get his point, playing for your country is irrelevant on how good you are.
