as far as it stands marsella is still with us. Butcher was asked just now on SSN about him and whether he was coming but he was non committal. He said of the starting 11 on sat marsella found 7, butcher 2 and 2 through the youth obviously Graeme and Nick. Shows how important we try and keep him

he on SSN of course he is using us in the past tense now he isnt our manager but he said Caley Thistle came here and won at the weekend. As far as i am concerned yes he was off but until yesterday he was still our manager. And he just said we sacrificed another league cup semi and 2nd in the table to come to really good club

I have nothing against Easter road, i enjoy visiting the capital but the K.O time is terrible. I understand why K.O's are changed but this one has no reasoning. Yes BBC showing it but im sure they could have a later kick off on a sunday. The police cant have an issue as it isnt a high priority to change. This needs sorting out but im afraid TV rule the roost and they will undoubtedly make sure it doesnt change.

The club will get it right as they have the club at heart, they will take there time to make the right appointment. As for Levein he is very good manger who made one mistake and is getting vilified for it. The 4-6-0 is a specialist formation which Barcelona can play because Lionel Messi floats and roams making him not an out and out centre forward. Scotland do not have these players not many countries do so it was a terrible mistake which I am sure he will never try again. Overall he was out of his depth as a national manager but in the club game he has performed very well with Hearts and Dundee United. I would give him a go along with Houston as we are a club that seems to do well with unheralded managers and allow then to show how good they are before moving to bigger challenges. Butcher was given the chance to start again after a miserable record so lets give Levein a chance to start again and he has a better track record than butcher before he took the job. Also Levein has worked with BBC Scotland and sometimes features on Sportscene so I am sure he knows how good this squad is and how we play.

Everyone seems to be pushing Foran into a coaching job but has he even got any badges to do this

have to agree about Malpas. I am sure if we went short term until the end of the season it would be fine but im not sure when it comes to running the club and progressing us on. He knows the system and the players but what will he be like come any of the windows with bringing in new players, tactically if plan A isnt working. Im not sure but i would love him to remain part of the club if he doesn't want to join his great pal at Easter Road where dreams become nightmares

1/ 2/ correct 3/ a Premiership team 2nd in the league ..cup semi ..ave crowds 1500/3500 (shocking)..bigger crowds around the bread stall in my local Asda !! 4/ Jealousy 5/ Chris Hogg You may get more at the bread stall in your local Asda but for a club that is less than 20 years old i dont think we are doing that bad in a up coming city while trying to get local support away from the old filth. We didn't have a team in the top flight 19 years ago, you did. You are over 100 years old and been able to establish the foundations to grow a support and a club in the capital city city of the country so yes you are bound to have higher support yet we gubbed you today, sit second and have a semi final. Tell me with you 8,000 fans today and bigger crowds that you can generate why it isn't your club in this position. Even St Johnstone who have even lower crowds than us are higher than you. At the end of day we have no bitterness towards Hibs as a club i just think you cant accept that you are ***** and have been for longer than just Fenlon's period in charge

watched the game on the live feed and i thought we were absolutely fantastic. Maybe Mo thinks differently to Butcher with Nick Ross becuase he looked so much effective in that middle number 10 role behind McKay. With the pace of watkins and Doran either side it was so balanced. Foran looked like a man possessed in midfield biting into everything and getting himself everywhere. Hibs were so blunt it is a wonder they are even 7th in the league. We have performed fantastically this season but today we seemed to have that extra edge and drive which I am sure didnt go unnoticed in the stand by our absent manager. But special word to Graeme Shinnie who didnt looked troubled defensively but looked a real threat going forward. Butcher may be moving into a job with more riches in his account and the clubs account but he is servilely lacking anything on the park. I can see many managers queueing up to get this job and continue our great season so far.

Malpas just said he hasn't talked to anyone and isnt speculating anything about the future cretin Young has mentioned that there may have been talks between the board and Malpas to take over but he believes Malpas will go with Butcher

Ian Auld not happy 'Love how a journo who you never see at the Caley Stadium suddenly becomes fountain of knowledge'

Terry has gone back inside the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Steve Marsella tells waiting snappers that 'He's not leaving.' same twitter source as earlier hmmmmmm
-
upset like everyone but we must regroup get behind the boys and show that Butcher may have jumped ship but the fans will never. Nothing major has changed at the moment we are still in a semi final, decent chance to make the 5th round of the Scottish cup and still flying high in the league. The players will be professional and whoever comes in should continue on the good work. We can't become a bad team overnight just because Butcher has gone
-
even though they have more money they wont be able to sign all of them and there stock will be higher so Terry going to have to folk out if he wants some of them. But maybe the players will wait to see how the season pans out. Butcher looks to have gone but we havent any official confirmation and we are talking about players futures we have a little while until Butcher can do anything

Terry Butcher has left training after hugging Richie Foran and speaking to players. Saying his goodbyes..... Chris Harvey from STV on Twitter. He said earlier that shearer was taking training when Terry arrived

The official approach, that is. I would suggest that the reality is that he's had a full week to think about it. maybe but if he has had a full week and yet still no decision then he must still be very much inconclusive of what he wants to do which i think is a good thing. If he wasnt torn he would probably have been gone days ago

The Sun say that we have lined up a "dream team of John Robertson and Barry Wilson", would hope that's untrue as I don't like managers returning for 2nd spells, have a feeling The Sun could be wrong mind you, P and J likely go be better than The Sun regarding Caley matters. I wouldnt be against Robbo coming back. I would prefer a fresh new face but Brewster second time was a disaster because he stopped playing. His first spell he was player manager which worked very well as he had something to give as a player. His second spell he stopped playing and was very poor tactically and i dont think he was that great a manager tbh. Robbo may do a good job but the fact that he knows a lot about terry's regime and and seen us play a lot i wouldnt be against him coming in. Having Barry in there will be great experience for him and he will give a lot of passion being a legend at the club.

I think that lots of people on here are being totally unreasonable about this. As fans we all want him to stay but Butcher doesnt owe us anything, he has done quite enough and deserves all the attention he has been getting. Some people think he is being disloyal because he said he would see out his contract after the Barnsley affair but had it been a top end premier league team coming in the next day he would have been gone. He hasn't had much time since the approach was made on Tuesday but I think the more time he takes is actually a compliment. This decision isn't black and white yes or no. He has to work out does he want a new challenge, has to see what the opinion of Malpas and Marsella is, very important does he up root Rita from a really lovely life in the Highlands. It is all rumours but Butcher has not said yes or no regardless of the situation with Malpas and Marsella showing he is torn. I dont think money is a huge priority for him and he is aloud to speak about potential vacancy's so if he says no then I for one won't be resentful that he put us through this. And if he goes then i wish him luck and i get excited about a new man carrying on Butchers fine work.

looks like it wont be today then

SSN doesnt really know anything. They have said Terry is back up north 'considering his options' but they did mention the rumour about Malpas and Marsella so still in the dark at the mo.
