  1. Not being facetious but has anybody ever received a response from the (alleged) SLO since the days of Andy J?
  2. I hope to God that this isn't true especially if the rumours are accurate that were being fussy about contract lengths with Billy which would be ridiculous. Laugherty is the appropriate level of staunch though for the current administration. ETA - physicality is one thing but there's only so physical you can be from the physio's office. It's reassuring to hear (as someone with a Catholic father and other family) myself that his sectarianism is just a wee misjudgement and that publicly saying to somebody he thought was a Celtic fan 'pack of fenian ********' was just a slip of the tongue. My enthusiasm to renew my ST is dropping by the day.
  3. In fairness I emailed the club on May 8th asking about what was happening with the kids v players game and got a reply the next day. Said they would look into it and get back to me. Haven't heard anything since though.
  4. I don't know about the others but as I understand it Kel is an employee of the club in the usual way (and has been for years) and not on a 1/2/3 year contract type deal.

    CEO Update

JR I get is a fan favorite however if his salary is anything like the alleged 6 figures then quite frankly on a cost benefit analysis then putting his salary towards the community academy project might be more beneficial. Or 10 weeks of it donated to the West stand fundraising would build the roof.

    Robbo

So has he been offered a contract extension or not?
  7. Apparently it's the number of macaroni pies sold in the 4th and 9th home game. If the total is a prime number then he's good to go.

  9. TBH I'm not surprised we didn't offer Shane another contract, I thought it was pretty good of us to offer another year given he would, in best case only have 2/3 months of game time available. Unfortunate it wasn't to be but to release players via email is just pathetic. Reminds me of hearing about Tokley being released via text message back in the day.
  10. Just ask the Supporter's Trust lol. Seems you have to be deemed worthy enough.
  11. Quite frankly we've never been the best at promoting ourselves and trying to be part of the fabric of the city but it's been even worse recently though. We must be the most disconnected club from its surrounding area that I can think of. With the SCF less than a week away what have we actually done? Punted some final merch on social media? People have commented on The Council but it's not their job to spontaneously promote ICT, have we as a club even approached them to help support the build up to Saturday? In previous run ups we've had activities in the Eastgate with the League Cup, pop up shops in the Eastgate and the Market etc, nothing this time. The ICT trust guys do a great job in schools and doing other community based programmes but they can only do so much. For goodness sake there was a promotion earlier this season for the kids v players 'biggest home game' if you spent a certain amount on merchandise. I got 2 for my kids at Christmas. I emailed over 2 weeks ago asking what was going on with it. Was told that they'll look into it. Nothing since. Can't even keep to their own promises to their young supporters. It's absolutely farcical. Why would we expect other dithering fans to be bothered? I'm sure the next communication will be to shell out for season tickets though!
  12. Aside from maybe putting some things out on social media for free I'm not sure what the council could do. Certainly nothing that actually costs anything at a time when they are cutting LS staff and PSA budgets, closing outdoor learning etc.
  13. Perhaps they could arrange a friendly of the team v the kids that got tickets to the 'Biggest home game' as part of the promotion earlier this season. Looks like it's been forgotten about
  14. Not that I'm aware of. In 2015 it was arranged by the Trust (then CJT) and volunteers with support from the club and the cost was covered by Davie Cameron / Upland. Those cards weren't cheap
  15. Be aware those that are not used to the big city that once you get to Glasgow on the train you will have to walk from Queen Street Station to Central Station to get the Mt Florida train to the stadium.
  16. Not sure we're in a privileged enough position to be too picky about who comes to our games tbh.
  17. Which half though? How do I know which half will be the good or one?
  18. Only £140 to take the family down and have decent seats. That's near half the cost of a season ticket. Some difficult decisions to be made.
  19. If the kick off time is earlier and with the disdain the authorities have for the fans it wouldn't surprise me, I would say 10-12k would be plenty seats. May possibly get another couple of thousand if the time is more amenable.
  20. Whatever happened to those old surfing flags that used to be put on the 'wings' of the main stand? Missing? Good to see Mikey Diamond's flag was eventually found again.
  21. Sitting in Section E I never really heard any real complaints about them tbh. Was only really an issue on the odd occasion they were super busy down the front and blocked some people's view. This wasn't a problem with past singing sections as they were at the back - old Section G then E. The problem has persisted as the club was never willing to designate an official singing section in North Stand as they didn't want to annoy any season ticket holders by moving them. So we end up with a wierd situation where there's nowhere for a designated singing section but there's simultaneously plenty of space. I don't blame them for wanting a space that's 'theirs' tbh and I hope it works out after the club backpeddaled somewhat on the roof, but I honestly don't see it happening. There seems to be no drive from S94 or the club on this whatsoever and no mention in over 2 months that I recall. So unless they get a friendly business or two to sponsor the stand I don't see it coming to anything. As for unspent monies, perhaps it should go improving the woeful disabled access and facilities there are, which the club should be looking to improve regardless.
  22. Yeah, Andy is no longer volunteering on match days. Thankfully he's been using his skills to amazing effect with the ICTWFC Academy, doing loads of filming etc and putting together great videos from the girls/women's games.
  23. I always find it interesting hearing people's back stories and takes on the merger / pre merger affiliations. I was 13/14 when it happened and although my dad couldn't care less about football, my uncle (Ben Gunn) used to take to to the Howden End sometimes so I had leanings from that. At the same time though my Grandad (Angie Mair Snr) took me to Grant St sometimes as he was a big Clach man. I also got my 'big team' support from him which was Rangers. After the merger I didn't go to more than a couple of ICT games for years as my uncle refused to have anything to do with ICT. By the time I was away to Uni in Glasgow I'd all but lost all interest in Rangers (living in Glasgow killed off the last vestige of any interest lol) and was more interested in ICT, going to the odd away game and Scotland home games. Kinda built from there, to getting a season ticket when I moved back to Inverness.
  24. Looking forward to the ICTSTI lingerie range
  25. Any support for the girls today appreciated.
