  1. One further consideration is that while the marginally interested might make the effort to travel 10 - 60 miles from Paisley, Kilmarnock, Falkirk or Perth, the 175 miles from Inverness will probably be a disproportionately deterring factor. Indeed, the drive for someone from Falkirk is about the same as someone from Inverness going to Aviemore.
  2. Surely they will!? Yes they will certainly allow time to see the trophy lifted etc
  3. Best check with your bus convener but all buses should be parked at Hampden.
  4. As above I'd say 9am. Buses leave Inverness at 8.30
  5. Plus 2 buses hired by Dalgetty bay Jaggie. More buses coming from Moray and all the private ones. Of course but Kingsmill was asking about the official supporters ones.
  6. My guess would be 9ish but I'd email www.ictst.co.uk to be sure.
  7. Seems you can't get 2 together in section F only in section I. Section G hasn't been opened it seems. So if you want 2 or more together it's £30 tix only at the moment. Looks like I'll be going for section I then.
  8. 27 buses are running. Yes it will be a record.
  9. If you're free on Friday and fancy helping set up the display drop an email to [email protected] minibus will be leaving Inverness at 8am. Central belt folk also welcome. Cheers
  10. It will cover the north and through onto the east.
  11. Can't we multitask and do both? Seriously tho it's great what we've sold and sales are apparently still strong (which actually in an odd way is giving me a bit of a headache lol). All I'm saying is for the long term financial stability of the club it would be fantastic if from our outstanding cup exploits a few hundred decided to make ICT part of their weekly routine.
  12. I realise that many people will have many reasons why they don't attend- distance, cost, poor quality pies, whatever... While it's fantastic that the less regular are making it for the final, what would be even better imo would be if just 10% of those decided to become TCS regulars.
  13. Celtic shop has closed down I believe, due to the rate increases in the Eastgate.
  14. Indeed! I'm far from sure how many Inverness fans would know how to get to Lyon or to Sociedad It seems many Invernessians can't find the TCS!
  15. I personally couldn't care less what the manufacturer name is so long as they are of decent quality / design & the club gets a good deal from them.
  16. Updated for Celtic & Cup Final. Link for cup final buses doesn't seem to want to play ball in HTML so here it is - http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/scottish-cup-final-buses-tickets-16691849772?ref=ebtnebtckt Please do not call or text the travel number for cup final bookings, only Celtic. Thanks.
  17. Opens on Monday the 11th as stated on the link.
  18. Difficult for us to play a neat passing game gives how badly the ball is holding up on the pitch. Like what led to their goal.
  19. So they can then keep those of a nervous disposition well clear.
  20. I believe there were two points selling. You can also buy online. We are a small club with limited resources and staff so folk will really just have to be patient. Lots of time left to buy as well. That is a pretty poor excuse. Two selling points to sell thousands of tickets. If I was a casual fan thinking of going would I bother to wait two hours in a queue when I most likely have other things on. The only thing it could possibly lead to is reduced sales. Compare this to the final when County got there. If I remember right they had about 10+ selling points to meet demand. They also ordered in thousands of extra strips to sell for the final, selling them in Tesco as well with other stands in the town. Also busses were sourced from all over Scotland and even England to meet demand. I just have this feeling our club won't be as organised, with two selling points on the first day a good example. Will we run out of tops in the next week as well? If we had a multimillionaire bankrolling things we could probably do it too. Things to remember- 1. Sale is only to priority groups. 2. It's a bank holiday and people are off. 3. It's the first day of sales. 4. They can be bought online. 5. There's no chance we won't meet demand (unfortunately) 5. There's physically only 2 tills that sell tickets. Personally I'd rather we didn't waste money on IT, software etc that would be needed to open a couple more tills that will probably be only needed for a few days. Trust me buses could be sourced from all over the country that's not the issue. It's the price as they'll be over twice the normal cost if memory serves.
  21. Doubt it
  22. Outstanding gesture from the lads.
