Don't think there's an issue with people being moved on stalwarts or no providing those who replace them are as good and younger or better. This certainly wasn't the case after Munro was pushed out. Dave is a well liked, good, hardworking player who sees to fit Hughes' 'gud honest laddie' to a T. He seems to want to stay but yet he's unwanted dispite Hughes moaning about how hard it is to get players up here. Unless Dave is demanding a silly amount of money (which is unlikely as he's not been made any offer it seems) I can only assume it's a personal issue/dislike the manager has for the player. Sad state of affairs.

2 week notices went out over social media this week I believe.

It was said at least a dozen times to the lads at the meeting last night that singing had absolutely nothing to do with it and they seemed happy about the outcome at the end. So how you can say that it was to do with singing is beyond me. I suggest if you are a CJT member to go to the AGM at the Caley Club on Feb 19th at 7pm to air all these issues in depth. As for asking for people to be ' 'struck off' perhaps put yourself forward at the AGM to help implement all your ideas? Also unsure how they could be a jobsworth as you get paid to do a job. At the end of the day it was admitted that lessons were learned on both sides and that was the positive basis the meeting ended on.

Prior to this how many people have got 5 months for a smoke bomb? None (as far as I'm aware), but then someone did.

I'm not really surprised at the banning order (particularly if he'd already breached one) but 5 months is pretty damn extreme! I'd have said a fine or some community work would be more appropriate. Can only assume that the judge is setting some kind of example.
