Good question (although there really shouldn't be any problem with having gatherings of about 2,500 people 12 miles apart). County-Hibs is moderately attractive to the TV companies but Hearts-Celtic and Falkirk-Rangers are the obvious prime candidates for telly.

Almost 2 months after the Courier reported that talks to secure Brill permanently were at "an advanced stage", they are pretty much saying the same thing again today, suggesting that we hope to have him tied up this week. Here's hoping.

The threads views stat = total hits, not unique ones. The site does though record unique visitors as well. I saw something which showed traffic yesterday (both views and unique visitors) was, unsurprisingly, massively higher than usual.

I'm pretty sure that is exactly the state of play. It's all part of the "sounding out" process that happens more often than not, but I'm also sure that Terry would be completely open with Kenny as to the origin of the story, although he wouldn't actually need to because Kenny ain't naive.

Wouldn't it be cool if Terry was just stringing Hibs along so that they are less likely to have a manager in place for Saturday......

Spencey also spoke to "someone senior" at ICT who said that ICT's entitlement to compensation would contractually be in the region £100,000-£150,000, but with only 6 months left that sum would be "negotiable".

One thing all of our previous managerial appointments have in common is plenty of up to date of experience of Scottish football (be it managing, coaching or playing) and I wouldn't expect the next one to be any different in that respect.

I would speculate Hibs may have agreed key terms (salary, contract length, jobs for the backroom team) with a representative of Terry, and then they've chosen to leak the story. Same happened with Hayes being announced as signing for Aberdeen, the player denying it, and then going there anyway.
