  1. I've been looking for this evidence that Mo wants the job, and there really isn't any. It just seems to just be an option for him if he doesn't get a job at Hibs. Some quotes from Mo yesterday. "What happens if Hibs don't want me?" Asked if he would interested in becoming ICT manager: "Possibly. I have not really thought too much about it, I have been waiting to see what decisions are made elsewhere. I enjoy coaching, I am happiest when I am on the training ground. That was the one thing I missed when I was managing." These aren't the words of someone who seems keen to be ICT manager. All he has said is that he isn't ruling it out.
  2. Busy writing a book about this saga.
  3. I'm still trying to work out which job at the Sunday Mail Mo actually wants.
  4. Based on Swindon and Motherwell I would have some doubts, but to be fair, Mo has earned first refusal on the job. And isn't his record in our dugout played 3 won 3?
  5. Anyone else notice Alba coverage at 86:10 - RiG shows there's no hard feelings by wishing the Hibs fans a safe journey home.
  6. We don't hate Hibs. Far from it. We wish we could play them every week.
  7. Yes, with our very limited budget we have to make do by scraping the barrel for duds like Billy Mackay, whilst a "massive" club like Hibs can spend megabucks on superstars like Rowan Vine.....
  8. What a well taken goal the 2nd one was. Billy could have gone down for a clear penalty but stayed on his feet and produced a neat finish.
  9. That is a truly disgraceful thing for the ICT manager to say at an ICT game. Just GTF right now Butcher.
  10. Fantastic result. Gutted I couldn't be there today. Every time Sportscene results went to Easter Rd you could hear our fans singing.
  11. I suppose any doubts about Mo's conflict of interest can be dismissed. Unless he suddenly swaps Brill for Billy, of course.
  12. Whilst still drawing a salary from ICT? Unprofessional. I don't think we've had much value for money from the 2 or 3 grand we've paid him this week.
  13. If/when he goes to Hibs, I don't think they have any fixtures that will take them past Auchterarder (without a significant detour). Bet he hasn't thought of that!

It has to be said that Hibs at 2/1 looks very generous, given that they are the home side and our preparations have been so heavily disrupted.
  15. In that context, "dog" certainly sounds a lot better than "schnauzer".
  16. I would suggest it has been mutually agreed that he won't be announced/confirmed as Hibs boss until after we've played them. I don't think Terry would want to be in the position of being expected to pass on info to Hibs as to how to beat us, who's carrying an injury etc.

    We're top o' the U20 league and you're no.....
  18. Well this thread has now overtaken the 43,000 views that the "Butcher to Barnsley" saga got. But incredibly it is still 8 pages (or 187 posts) shorter than that one. I really don't think I could take another 8 pages of speculation.
  19. Admittedly those odds are from January 2009 Mucho respect to Kingsmills who, on seeing that list back then, promptly replied "Terry Butcher strikes me as a good bet at 25-1"
  20. Odds From William Hills : John Robertson 11/8 Derek McInnes 9/2 Neale Cooper 9/2 Steven Pressley 6/1 Duncan Shearer 10/1 Jim Duffy 10/1 Barry Wilson 12/1 Derek Adams 12/1 Donald Park 12/1 Ally McCoist 14/1 Steve Paterson 16/1 Craig Brown 25/1 Terry Butcher 25/1
  21. Had to laugh at the tweet posted on hibs.net: "Richie Foran visibly upset. He's just been told how much a flat costs in Edinburgh......"
  22. Yngwie replied to Renegade's topic in Caley Thistle
So it looks like Duncan Shearer will be in charge of the team. This might be a dumb question, but does he normally go to 1st team games? I'm sure he must but I just can't recall seeing him, not at away games anyway.
  23. Spent as much time banned from the dugout as in it. Doesn't strike me as someone our directors could work with. Winning a cup doesn't make you a good manager, you just have to win a few games for that. It's consistent league form that matters. Killie knew exactly how good a manager he was, and sacked him as a result.
  24. Time to modify that away games song: "Terry away, With Steve and Mo......"
