Poll : Billy Mckay's price tag
There is a strong possiblity that someone will make ICT an offer for Billy before the end of January. If you were in charge of ICT, how much would a club have to offer to tempt you to sell our star striker during this transfer window?

Sky mention that several clubs are interested in Toni Reguero, after Killie made him available for loan.

But so long as the swearing was in English, Alba's viewers won't even understand it.

By leaving Stevenage he's missing out the chance to play against Everton in the cup next week - the team he supports, and his grandfather played for. Although he maybe wasn't expecting to be picked anyway.

Butcher's post-match comment was similar: "He's been threatening to do that all season!"

Just had a look at the (Stevenage) Borochat forum. There is a mixture of views on his departure, as there was when he left us, but most seem glad to see the back of him. Some are abosultely delighted in fact. Their main critcism of him is lack of workrate.

Agreement = payment! Official announcement says there was competition for him from within the SPFL as well as from England.

I'm just surprised that Renegade didn't find it first! Anyway, I was perusing the Trinidad & Tobago Guardian over morning coffee as usual, and their coverage of the story reveals that Latapy is actually over there in Trinidad, so he possibly won't be in a rush to get to Inverness in the middle of January. Check out the pic - Latapy looks happy, the guy from the TTFA clearly isn't! http://www.guardian.co.tt/sport/2014-01-15/latas-ttfa-kiss-and-make

I sat down to read my daily copy of the Trinidad Express and found Latapy in the news. Sounds like he might now have enough money to pay for the plane fare over here. http://www.trinidadexpress.com/news/Latapy--settles-5m--lawsuit-with-TTFA-240381211.html

Penalty-kick taker?
Well it took Motherwell (6 wins in a row and a better team than us) a flukey deflection to beat them on Saturday.

Team for Aberdeen (A)
To get a draw here would be absolutely excellent, and Yogi's best result to date, given the number of key players missing and the good form of our opponents. If however all of this Saturday's games go with form, we'll be just 3 points from the bottom 6.

Penalty-kick taker?
With the semi-final coming up, I hope the entire squad are getting some penalty practice in. Based on Sneckboy's stats above, we have an overall success rate of 70%. That equates to scoring 3.5 of our 5 penalties in a shoot-out, which is unlikely to be enough.

Strengthen during transfer window?
One of the reasons Hearts are trying to get their embargo lifted is supposedly because Skacel is willing to play for them for free.

If true then I'm plussed. He'll be cover for Draper and Foran and do a reasonable job in there.

I've made a few enquiries about rescheduling our preliminary plans for July, and the draft fixture list looks quite tempting. Sun 6 Friendly Clachnacuddin Kingston Tue 8 Friendly Fort William Nevis Sat 12 Friendly Montrose Montserrat Tue 15 Friendly Brora Barbados Wed 16 Friendly Muir of Ord Port of Spain Sat 19 Friendly Arbroath Aruba Wed 23 Friendly Elgin Holguin Sat 26 League St Johnstone St Lucia A luxury cruise liner has been provisionally booked to accomodate and transport the team and the fans between islands, to be paid for by the same long queue of sponsors who are donating to the scoreboard fund. However, with the SPFL insisting that the first game kicks off at 12.30pm on a Sunday, long before even the first Megabus gets in, a fleet of jets is being arranged by CaleyJags Together to get us all over there in time. Red Stripe have kindly offered to subsidise the transport cost of this down to a very reasonable £10 per head. There will of course be a toilet stop at Broxden.
