I think it is very rare to get a loanee for free.

ICT squad 2012-13
Good to hear that we will be in a position to sign another defender but where are the goals going to come from? In our relegation season our top scorer got 5 goals, and I'm not convinced Mackay will do any better than that.

ICT new home shirt 2012-14
Great news. But more than ever, I really hope it doesn't look like a Rangers shirt.

Emergency Board Meeting?
I've heard today from a usually reliable source that ICT's disappointment with the SFL decision was all to do with the rejection of the league restructuring proposals (expanded SPL, play offs, fairer distribution of income etc) and most definitely NOT because of what league Rangers were put in. When you actually read the statement with that in mind it makes a lot more sense and seems to stack up. Hopefully we'll get some further clarification after the emergency board meeting. I'm also quite reassured to see that we had a trialist at Elgin today, which we surely wouldn't have done if we are on the brink of financial meltdown.

Emergency Board Meeting?
Neither ICT nor the other SPL chairmen said they wanted Rangers to start again in Division 3. All they could do was deal with the matter in hand that they had influence over, which was to vote on whether to accept them into the SPL, and they voted no. Of course it would have been vastly prefereable for ICT and most of the other SPL clubs if the SFL had voted for the package of measures that would have helped us to survive as a full time club. Nobody ever said anything to the contrary. Cameron made the mistake of saying in public what most other Chairmen are saying in private. This isn't about Rangers any more, it's about ICT's survival. Shouldn't that be the focus of our discussions?

Maybe they asked him... Nope, they justed lifted the entire story off other people's Twitter accounts and made up a salary.

Emergency Board Meeting?
Surely it hasn't escaped your notice that the SFL teams actually voted in their own financial self-interest? Every one of them will get 2 home sellouts against Rangers plus a likely SFL TV deal and improved sponsorship. The only people who have voted for 'sporting integrity' at the direct expense of their own self interest were ICT and 9 other SPL teams.

Emergency Board Meeting?
To clarify, when I say our finances are bad, whilst we don't have the debt that some other clubs have, the problem is that we run at a loss of several hundred thousand pounds a year and can only stay afloat as a full time club if someone somewhere injects that sort of money each and every year. The prospect of us losing £0.5m to £1m a year would be a serious enough problem for 1 year, but for the next 3 years at least........?

3rd or 1st
25 out of 30 SFL clubs voted for Div3.

3rd or 1st
I'm sure the SPL have been working away on this option for the last week or two but still, there isn't much time to get it all in place if they want the SPL2 season to start at the same time as Div 1 was due to be starting.

3rd or 1st
But surely the next step in this saga is that the SPL will announce the immediate creation of an SPL2 into which they will invite Newco and Div 1 clubs?

David Proctor - Edmonton FC
I found on an Austrian site that in mid-June he had talks with Sturm Graz, and announced that he wanted to join them. However when the Sturm coach tried to phone him to finalise things Piermayr never called him back. The coach said (translated): "Piermayr is a developing player who would have been interesting but he has not called back and responded unprofessionally. This is a shame, because he was with us actually already scheduled..."

They'll just be guessing his wage. Anyway, given the amount ICT pay the police every year it's surely not asking much to get a wee favour now and then in return.

Gillet played as a trialist for Upjest in a 5-0 defeat to Belgian side Kortrijk.

Barry Robson
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Rennie he's from Thurso originally, played a bit at Junior level but has been more of a professional coach than a footballer.

Barry Robson
He went to Dundee Utd in 2003, a year before we first made it to the SPL.
