  1. The SPL was founded on the principle of greed, so it's hardly surprising that each club votes with self-interest at heart. And I'm not actually criticising anyone for doing that, it's natural.
  2. You missed Gillet, looks like he won't be coming back either.
  3. Do we know how Rangers voted back in 2004? We "won" the original vote 7-5 but needed 8 votes, then won the subsequent vote 10-2.
  4. Seriously? I thought your post was quite a clever joke!
  5. We got that money in March.
  6. The name and the brand can be bought from Oldco as part of the transfer of assets, and I'd expect that to be part of the deal already in place. History and honours cannot be bought though - although some may say that Rangers bought their titles in the first place.
  7. They would of course benefit from the return of Dundee derbies......
  8. Am I right in saying that so far, the only winners from this Rangers saga have been Duff & Phelps, and the various lawyers involved? Rangers deserve every possible misfortune, but it's still a shame that so much money has been sucked out of Scottish football by the leeches employed to cure them.
  9. Will the St Mirren fans still boo him at County or will they continue to vent their anger at whoever is playing right back for ICT?
  10. OK, let's not name a stand after him
  11. I think that a club and player can sign a contract any time, it's just that the transfer of his registration can't take place until the window opens. Didn't Tansey sign for us in early June last year?
  12. Current state of play seems to be that he has "agreed" a deal but is about to go on holiday to Egypt and won't sign until his return. First interview with the player about moving to ICT, in which he confirms that Terry is the real attraction of ICT. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/324962
  13. Ah, not a proper teacher then.
  14. As expected, Tade has now signed for St Johnstone. From BBC: "Over the last few weeks it has been very intense with various clubs showing interest in me," he said.
  15. Gives us plenty of time to make arrangements!
  16. And yet in an article exactly 2 years ago, the same paper said he was 24! Most sources say he will be 28 in August. The article from 2 years ago was about him having Gilmore's Groin.
  17. That's good to hear, because we've just lost someone with those attributes.
  18. That Warren article is 2 days old and was linked to earlier in this thread.
  19. If he hasn't signed for anyone else and ICT hasn't retracted its contract offer, they can't really announce his departure.
  20. Interesting, Elderboy, that's exactly the sort of league we will be trawling.
  21. The club makes a loss of several hundred thousand pounds every year and needs that sort of injection every year to keep us full-time and solvent.
  22. Oddly, most of my Tokely memeories are negative ones - red card against Ayr when we could have been going to Hampden for the first time, the red card that got us relegated, and the red card for chasing some ned (McGarry?) 40 yards to whack him (although that one is forgivable). It's probably because the hundreds/thousands of tackles and balls won in the air are individually easy to forget, but it's the game changing moments that stand out.
  23. [trying desperately to find a positive....] At least that's a phrase we will never hear again at ICT!
  24. Who all have potential but I remain to be convinced that any of those 4 are proven SPL standard, yet.
