I think you're gonna have to explain your logic there. Surely the most relevant stat from the poll is that over the course of a week, hundreds of people have viewed it but only 24 took part.

Are you referring to his poor technique?

He was excellent that night, I remember a close range bullet header being tipped over.
  4. Injured his knee during the 1-1 at Hibs in August.
  5. Ach, the best team won. I thought we might have had more of a go to be honest, but they controlled midfield from start to finish and we never really got going.
  6. Look defo a pen to me, but it seems that the ref didn't give it, the linesman did. lennon will be going apopceltic.

The word "refusenik" was the term created to describe Jews who were refused permission to emigrate from the Soviet Union. So I suppose one thing they have in common with the people we are debating is that there aren't many of them in Inverness.

Only if the games were against Rothes etc.
  9. So the most attractive QF to the TV companies ends up being the only one NOT to be televised.
  10. After his rather questionable performance against Scotland, it's good to see that Tuffey has a place in the N Ireland squad for the 2 Euro qualifiers coming up. Maik Taylor is obviously their no. 1, and they have now "converted" Notts Forest's (English) keeper so I don't imagine Tuffey will be getting many starts any time soon. In fact that last comment could apply to his ICT career too, and I would imagine that he'll need to have a serious think this summer about his career. It's OK if you are at a big club where the money makes the boredom worthwhile, but he risks doing his career a lot of harm if he stays here as a benchwarmer.
  11. No mention of it on the Sky schedule as far as I can see, just Real Madrid in the CL.

In the good old days I'm sure we just deployed a pair of Bobby's shorts.
  13. The only reason NOT to want St J/Brechin is that it might be preferable to save them for the final.
  14. Personally I think the fairest outcome is that the points deduction is what stops them going up. It was intended to be a punishment, and it only really serves as that if it has a material impact on the outcome of their season.

Same as before Alex, you just tell the barman what you want and hand over a few quid.

I think it's to remind himself which identity he is using.
  17. I think this is the 4th time we'll have been in the semi-final draw. Twice we got to the semis, plus the time we lost a QF replay to Partick.

Don't say that, there are certain people who will now start trying to get that vote overturned!
  19. Don't give up the day job!
  20. At least we'll be in the semi-final draw.

They play in Pitmedden, near Ellon.
  22. Aye, they are currently having dinner together before discussing their tactics.

I recall that McGuire went there on a short term deal so that he could keep fit before going over to the USA - but I think that was about 18 months ago! It's been a remarkable fall for some of those players, but I'd imagine that Formartine have some decent money behind them that makes it worthwhile.
  24. Another harsh red I recall was McCaffrey away at Falkirk (when they played at Ochilview). One of their players had fallen to the ground and was gripping the ball between his thighs to stop Caff getting possession. The ref should have blown for a free kick to us, but didn't, so Caff had little choice but to but his foot in to retrieve the ball.
