Spain's Lopez Ufarte always brought some schoolboy giggles. And an aptly named former opponent of ICT (Scottish Cup 1998) was Dundee Utd's Jean Jacques Misse-Misse.

If Mantis was here he'd be telling us his joke about the German international, Helmut Schoen.

Club wins Niculae appeal
Does anyone know if the written adjudication will eventually be published here? It would make interesting reading, find out what actually happened, to get the reason for overturning the previous decision, and to see if there are realistic grounds for appeal.

Should be instant. Check your junk mail folder though. I registered earlier this evening, and that's where the email went.

From BBC website's Newspaper Gossip section OK it's not the greatest source, but once in a while must surely get something right (he's says, hoping).

Club wins Niculae appeal
Everyone had a lot to say at the time and some of it was beyond harsh. I consistently gave the much maligned board (to quote Sorted) the benefit of the doubt, because I thought it was clear they were the victims of a Romanian stitch up, and because I don't think they've ever really let us down - well, apart from being too slow to punt Brewster. Anyway, does this case count as our first win in Europe?

There is a separate case, still pending, concerning Marius's 100k signing on fee, and something about (alleged) unlawful deductions from his salary. Yes, the Swiss case was about Marius trying to claim a share of the transfer fee we received, the Inverness case is to do with his original signing on fee which was payable in 2 instalments. He wasn't paid the 2nd one because he had gone by the time it fell due for payment. Whether or not he is entitled to it would depend on what his contract says about that scenario, but it may well be silent on the subject. I wouldn't be surprised if Marius wins this one, simply because it is an employment law case and employees tend to get the benefit of any doubt (even when they are in the wrong). He'll have to get time off work to come over for the case though.- Gary Lineker
Well if you google, "England, World Cup, shit performance" it is result number 18,756,234.- Gary Lineker
It's often said that certain strikers sh1t themselves when they have to make a tackle, but until recently I wasn't aware what happened to Lineker at Italia 90. I never considered Lineker to be a dirty player, but if the ref had shown him a yellow card he could at least have used it to wipe.- Integrity
I thought you were going to suggest it was one of those fake blood capsules- Crowds.
You'd still hope we'd get a bigger crowd for Rangers' first visit in almost 2 years.- ICT -V- Rangers : Matchday Thread
Did you see our goal celebration today? I was watching with my father-in-law who laughed at it and asked if Hayes was a "shirtlifter". I was somewhat puzzled by this but quickly pointed out that he hadn't actually lifted his shirt, because to do so would almost certainly have resulted in a yellow card in accordance with current FIFA guidance.- Hearts Roll Call
My first game for a while. Let's hope Rudolf doesn't spoil our Christmas. Got very fond memories of Bayne's injury time 3-2 winner at Tynie a week before Christmas in 2007.- Top 20 Goals since leaving Highland League
Rankin's brilliant strike v Rangers perhaps caused more delirium than any, but Wilson's 40 yarder at Motherwell was genius of the type we might never see again. But for sheer class, let's not forget Dargo's chip at Stirling. It's extremely rare that I've seen opposition fans applauding an ICT goal.- ICT -V- Rangers : Matchday Thread
A deserved piece of good fortune if you ask me, but I was going mental all the same.- ICT -V- Rangers : Matchday Thread
Were the cameras just unflattering or does Beattie have the Moobs of the Season? Looked very unfit.- Brown resigns as Motherwell boss.
I'm just relieved its Brown and not Butcher going to Aberdeen.- Around the world in 80 fans
