Looks like we've been interested in him for a few months. Terry's status at Ipswich may have helped swing this one. ICT v Torquay?
  2. I'd be pretty confident that there are senior officials at Hearts who would agree that the lack of action against Craig Thomson is a disgrace.
  3. Plenty of other SPL clubs have experimented over the years. Sadly, lowering ticket prices simply results in less overall income for clubs.
  4. Viz top tip : Can't get Wimbledon tickets? Replicate the experience at home by laughing and cheering whenever a pigeon lands on your lawn.
  5. If, as expected by many, Colin Calderwood finally leaves Hibs, it would appear from their forums that the first choice of the fans at the moment is our Terry.
  6. Isn't McBain at Peterhead now too? First I'd heard of Bobby going to Formartine but it seems that Scotty is right. Is McGuire still there?
  7. 5'9" is small for a defender, but he must be pretty darn good to have come close to making the grade at Arsenal. His last club seems to have been Portland Timbers in the MLS (who I see Adam Moffat, ex County and Elgin, plays for). I'm sure plenty of other SPL teams would like to have him on trial, so Terry has done well just to get him here for a look. He seems to have a pedigree that is as high as we can realistically expect to attract, but we'll see how his Champions League credentials shape up at Grant Street! Hopefully he makes more of an impact than the last vertically challenged Arsenal reject we got.
  8. Hearts fans must be really proud of all this.
  9. On, stamp, off
  10. A Scotland Olympic team could do well if only they would introduce some more contemporary events. We're not just good at heart disease I don't see how the Scottish football team could be abolished because of this when FIFA happily recognises numerous much less credible "nations". However, the politics of FIFA are such that they wouldn't hesitate to reduce the relative power of the home nations if they got a sniff of a chance.
  11. Hmmm, not sure. White again, yawn. Harmless though, and I'm sure I'll grow to like it like I have done with most other tops.
  12. No, it makes it more understandable!

If it is him, and from that photo I'm not sure it is, he is a French forward who had unsuccesful trials with St Mirren and Killie last summer. Here is a compilation of his time in the Belgian Second Division at SK Ronse. Nothing there that gets me excited TBH. "Best of" whilst at SK Ronse
  14. Are you serious TM4TJ, there's actually a carving of the Gruffalo in Culloden? Will have get my wee girl up to see it sometime. A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood......

Easy. Squad number is 25, which according to the Official site means its Kevin McCann.
  16. I hope it is St Mirren, but I fear that if Dunfermline are relying on Barrenman for goals, they have no chance. History shows that the promoted team nearly always stays up, but I'm not sure if the Pars really shone sufficiently in a weaker than ever Div 1 to convince me that they will do well. So they get my vote, reluctantly.
  17. What happened, did he got lost on the way?
  18. There's some (completely unsubstantiated) chat from Swindon fans today that Adam is joining them.
  19. He could quickly and easily alert the pupils each time he'll be in the vicinity, seeing as he's facebook friends with them anyway.
  20. But who would lace them?
  21. Big Builders Bum Stumbled across this former player (and before anyone says it, no, I was not googling for images of big builders bums). When Paul played for ICT he also ran his own business as an independent financial adviser, which in turn enabled him to help players arrange pensions. He was then a fully registered FIFA agent. Then last I heard a few years ago, he was out working in Spain selling property to ex-pats. And now this. I remember the days when retiring pro footballers simply bought a pub!
  22. Duff is a sort of utility/midfield/right back player, which decribes what Proctor has been for us too. I would question whether we need both of them, but I think I'd rather have Duff.
  23. Bit harsh, and I'm sure the likes of Dunfermline and St Mirren would see him as a good signing.
