ICT -V- Ayr Utd : matchday thread
Shaping up to be one of the best days of the season for Dundee and they aren't even playing. In the days of Pele going 0-2 down just made things interesting. Can't think of many such comebacks in recent years.

There has to be an ICT connection here, so its pretty obvious. Bajram Fetai.

Surely the whole concept of international football is racist. Players are barred from playing for 99% of the teams purely on the grounds of their nationality. Perhaps we could have a test case where say Gary Caldwell sues the Brazilian FA for discrimination.

Wayne Bridge
How about another poll. Would you shag a teammates burd? 1) Yes! 2) No, its morally wrong 3) No, I'm gay 4) Undecided, depends how fit she is 5) Undecided, depends on the chances of him finding out

Ayr game on/off thread
No, under FIFA rules if one team doesn't show up, the game gets rescheduled to take place in Monaco and ends up 0-0.

Could you please add a "Couldn't give a toss" option to the poll, thanks. :(

Might arrive in time for kick off then!

The Scotsman Sutherland interview.
I wouldn't read much into that, its a pretty meaningless figure because companies can just change their authorised share capital if they want to.

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
I don't think anyone is disputing that that is pretty much what happened. Niculae's bone of contention seems to be that he did this with the blessing and encouragement of ICT, who then argued that he instigated his own transfer.

So it's not just Chelsea who have well heeled studs in the dressing room?

QOS- GAME OFF
Did anyone hear Radio Scotland's Beyond the SPL show at 7pm? I heard a trailer for it and amongst the contents was "The truth about the call off" of our game but I wasn't able to listen to the show to see what was being said. Edit - or even to hear what was being said.

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
My lack of Romanian was a bit of a problem at the interview. Some of my gesticulating to explain tactics seemed to mean something else to them.

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
Does he have permission or is he throwing a sicky?! If I were Dinamo's manager I would rather have him in training than let him disappear for a couple days simply to increase his personal wealth.

Is Marius being given time off training to attend?

The Scotsman Sutherland interview.
I know Savage left fairly acrimoniously, but that in itself does not mean he was treated badly, does it? An 11% stake and a place on the board might build expectations but doesn't actually buy much power, that's the trouble with that sort of investment.

Aye, recovering in hospital after bumping into Gordon Brown and politely expressing concerns over the sustainability of his economic policies.

QOS- GAME OFF
Hounddog, the pitch may have been frozen on Friday morning but that's not when the game was to be played. The club took a view as to what would happen in the following 24 hours with USH, but the overnight temperatures were colder than forecast. Nevertheless, the pitch was perfectly playable by the time players would have been running out for their warm up. If clubs simply called off matches because they were in doubt on Friday, there would be a backlog of dozens of games.

QOS- GAME OFF
That's the most sensible thing you've said.

QOS- GAME OFF
We did, but when Bobby went to Dundee, he was allowed to take his shorts with him.

QOS- GAME OFF
And calling it off on Friday as you suggest would not have resulted in any loss of hospitality and gate money? :025:

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
I think that's a bit harsh on Marius, if he feels he's contractually entitled to something then you can't blame him for pursuing it, regardless of the size of the club.

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
This thread is about ICT appealing the FIFA decision, the other case will be the hot topic in early March and I might start the sensationalist topic title "Niculae in shock return to Inverness" :021:

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
One document we know of that isn't in place is a written transfer request from Marius. Indeed, when Marius was spouting off to the tabloids, the only card he repeatedly played was that the club couldn't produce written proof that he requested a transfer. It is not inconceivable though that the circumstances and his actions (eg allegedly refusing to join the club's training camp because he was busy arranging his own transfer) could lose him the case, depending again on the club's ability to substantiate their version of events.

ICT to appeal Niculae decision
But to be fair to the club, only his side of the story has really been publicised. The full facts as to who did what, and when, and what documents are in place, are not known to us, but will be the deciding factors.
