Tokely's 500th Appearance
I fully expect Rossco to commemorate this milestone with either a goal or a red card.

Stirling Meerkats FC
I think the first examples of a club selling its name to a sponsor were in the Welsh Leagues. Llantasffraid became Total Network Solutions, and when that company disappeared, they changed it to The New Saints to keep the TNS abbreviation. (A bit of trivia - they actually play their home games in Oswestry, England). And there's Airbus UK and Corus Steel as well. The problem is that in all likelihood, a team will have to change its name every few years when they change sponsors, or the sponsor goes through a change or takeover.

Who's it to be?
It's a small step from tenable to terrible though.

Stirling Meerkats FC
In light of our current league position, how about "I can't believe it's not better".

Stirling Meerkats FC
We could just sell the rights to Caledonian Brewery and become Caledonian FC.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/taysid...ral/8471740.stm :) Who should we sell our club naming rights to?

Imrie
Being here is better than being on the dole, I suppose, but I've got my my agent working flat out to get me out of this backwater and up to the level where I belong. Call me cynical!

Out of interest, how do you know this? Diamond earring, always a give away. Well if it's good enough for Maradona.....

Bill McLaren dies
Very few sports commentators have ever been so widely respected by viewers and participants. And he was the only good thing ever to come out of Hawick.

Getting too personal here, let's get back to the match please.

Tokely at Left Back
Was Terry experimenting here to see how well covered we are if one or two left backs get released this month?
-
African Cup of Nations
Interesting that Algeria were involved in this dull 0-0. They were controversially knocked out of the 1982 World Cup after Germany and Austria (?) passed the ball along the back 4 to get the 0-0 result both those sides needed to go through.

ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
When was the last time ICT won a game against the odds? Last March? I'd forgotten how good it feels.

Tokely at Left Back
Rossco has played in most positions for us at some point over the years.

Great result, and completely unexpected for me.

Somebody from Bremerhaven, if I'm reading it correctly. Looks like they've been to the stadium, with pics of the pie kiosk and a comment that they don't sell beer or bratwurst. http://www.caleythistle.de/

ICT -V- Motherwell : Matchday Thread
What happens on the pitch doesn't really matter, the lack of pies will be the talking point for the next few days!

The ones that got away?
Will this be before or after Dean MacDonald signs for them?!

Quick question
Nah, just recently onto my 2nd since then (the motherboard died). I just transfer over all the documents each time.

County starting to plan for the SPL
Under the SPL rules, Pittodrie was ICT's designated home ground for that season. So even if we'd built our own Emirates Stadium and had it ready for the first game of the season or any time after, we wouldn't have been allowed to use it. What the club did was get the SPL to change those rules, and THEN built a compliant stadium that they were allowed to use after we'd played each club once at Pittodrie.

County starting to plan for the SPL
Spot on Flyboy, and the 10,000 seats had to be in place by 31 March, long before we knew if we would overtake Clyde. The Boards handling of the promotion/stadium affair was superb and showed initiative, bravery and good judgement. (What's happened since then? )

Quick question
Aye that's who I meant, just got a bit confused!

Quick question
Ian "Spider" Stewart, who I think went to Peterhead at the end of that season. He had big hair.
