  1. Here's a thought - what happens if Rod Stewart says something critical of the board!
  2. There's an interview in the Sunday Times with the former Celtic keeper, who has now settled in New Zealand where he coaches. When asked what the worst moment of his career was, he picked ICT's Feb 8th 2000 victory. "It still haunts me to this day." :P You might think this was an obvious choice, but he rates it as being worse than a nightmare game for Halifax. "I wore a pink jersey and let in five goals, three from passbacks". He also confirms his role in the Celtic dressing room bust up. "I then stepped in and told the manager he should be directing his anger at Eyal Berkovic because I didn't think he was pulling his weight, and John (Barnes) and I had a bitter exchange. We needed leadership and John didn't provide it, he was in a situation he hadn't the experience to handle". But I guess he won't be flying back for the 10th anniversary event.

Didn't realise he had a Shaun Goater tattoo as well, making a full set of the worlds best players. B)
  4. I believe he was told "ToGo" but that's another thread altogether. Back on topic, Togo will surely win any appeal on this.

Not good news for the Man City diehard who got "Robinho" tattoed across his chest, just next to the "Kaka" he confidently got done when they bid ?100m for him.
  6. Great result. Is it the first time we've beaten a top half team this season?
  7. I don't think we can afford an Italian striker.
  8. Well you got the first and last letters right! :(
  9. I saw him pre-season at the Brechin game and proclaimed that he was the answer to our defensive problems. As the season progressed though he didn't quite live up to my early hopes though, too erratic. I'd still rather he stayed, and I doubt we'll get a decent replacement.
  10. If, as reported, the Russian club are in Turkey (presumably on a winter training camp?), that could be the source of some confusion here.
  11. That's a big step up for him if this is true. Trabzon are Rigobert Song's current team and are 6th in the Turkish League. Pretty good move for him considering that 3 months ago we weren't sure whether he was good enough for a team in the bottom half of Division 1. Grab these opportunities while you can.
  12. Our results seem to have improved since he was dropped. From what I've seen, he's a poor man's Alan Morgan, but I hope he comes good.
  13. Yep, and he he took 2 wickets (Odhiambo, not Wyness).
  14. If I can hijack Ren's quiz to add anothe couple of questions. 6. Which player was loaned to ICT by 2 different clubs? 7. When did Odhiambo play against Scotland?
  15. 1. The actor Butcher fell out with was a director of Sydney FC but I can't remember his name. In fact I don't think I'd even heard of him before the Butcher story. It certainly wasn't a world famous Australian actor like Stefan Dennis. 2. MacDonald, 1 from 2 games. 3. They hacked/copied their website? 4. The Dolphin Stand. 5. No idea but I'm intrigued.
  16. I think Sanchez has more skill, control and creativity.
  17. Interesting angle, and a valid question.
  18. We don't need players who are well past their best, we need to build for the future. We don't need attackers, we need defenders. We don't need attackers who don't score goals. Signing Wyness would be worse than signing Golabek, at least he provided another option in an area where we are very weak. It's just not going to happen, and nor should it.
  19. Didn't the OP cast the first stone?
  20. I guess the race for 4th place isn't really capturing the fans' imagination.
  21. Just 13 points behind now. :004:
  22. Full time 0-1, phew!
  23. It's a good day for us IF the results stay as they are. But they won't. :022:
  24. I see St Mirren have the lunchtime game at Motherwell. Perhaps their fans couldmake the short trip to Airdrie afterwards, to pay tribute to the player they secretly admire.
