  1. Similar, but the graphics here are better. Is that Eric Gates tussling with Mick Mills?
  2. I think it's Polish for "Let's get stuck right intae they cheatin jambos"
  3. Not really a surprise that he's leaving. Bit of a shame it never really worked out, but I prefer to think of the wages it frees up to bring in a player who will feature more in the first team.
  4. Actually the last Texan bar I ever ate claimed one of my teeth. That would have been in the same era as Space Dust, which had this sort of effect on a child: :crazy07:
  5. In our recent game at Tannadice, big Mixu was outside the ground with some younger, blonde guys. It only later struck me that one of them might have been Markus, but to be honest I've forgotten what he looks like. And plays like.
  6. Or you will probably still be OK by post. My ticket arrived next day.

    Smeaton

The lad done good. Many other people take risks and save lives etc, but it's their job to do so. It's not his fault that the press and various other organisations are trying to latch on and associate themselves with his "hero" status.
  8. No, not by the police. Diving is not yet a criminal offence. Some papers have been reporting that Owen Coyle's Burnley are keen to make a move in the window. They speculate that his value is ?750k. I cannot imagine that there was any sell-on clause when we got our ?65k (?) for him all those years ago.
  9. :015: But which of our defenders is needing the fundamentals of the offside trap explained to him?
  10. Sadly I think Broonies days are numbered at Parkhead. He has been consistently mediocre for them in the chances he's had in the first team, and I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another keeper in January.
  11. Got a ticket and a day release from home. :022:
  12. I think some people are being unfair on Tokely here. Rossco has been playing in a 4-4-2 where he was expected to get up and down the wings, which he did pretty well - and inevitably sometimes got caught up the pitch. Procco has looked good playing in a 4-5-1 where he is not expected to go on the attack or put crosses in, and so should seldom be caught out of position. It is perhaps a case of the tactics working better rather than a change of player improving our fortunes. But a tough choice for the manager when they are both available.
  13. I read an interview with Fraser talking about how he keeps in touch with Broonie, and that the losing keeper today keeper would have to buy the other one a meal. Make it Gleneagles Mikey!
  14. It was good..........but Tokely wouldn't have let the keeper get a hand to it!
  15. It was a key decision, the moment that gave ICT a foothold and ultimately turned the game. The pundits were split as to whether Pressley's tussle with Niculae merited a penalty. What do you reckon?
  16. Dr Yngwie suggests that you could have oral thrush. It's no laughing matter! Makes your throat agony, and arises from a number of non-sexual means.
  17. I don't think even his appointers would have expected such a sudden impact. If any of the statto geeks on this website have some time this evening, I'd be interested to see a league table counting only matches since Brewster took over. My feeling is that we might have a place in Europe.
  18. I've always considered Mikey to be a decent enough keeper, but I've never seen him make a save that any other decent SPL keeper wouldn't have made. Until today. Brilliant performance. :clapping03:
  19. No, the pic was in the paper but not the online article. I'd scan it, but he's too wide to fit!
  20. Or we could be effectively out before the first home game!
  21. How many cameras were on you?!
  22. I bet you couldn't bear (no pun intended) to be separated from your dog, Mohammed. Secular season's greetings to all believers in ICT!
