  1. He had a fantastic record. Get Calder in to give Mikey a few tips on penalties (but not on coming for crosses, shudder........) Fraser probably learnt a lot from Broonie, who was equally unsuccessful.
  2. Unused sub today. Rutkiewicz and Anderson are nothing special at the back so I can see him getting starts, although Kevin James will be back from injury soon.
  3. Some poor games by Rossco gives an interesting dilemma for the manager, but the situation is somewhat reminiscent of the fans calling for Fraser to be dropped a couple of months ago. Better the devil you know? From what little we have seen of him I would say Proctor is no less likely to make mistakes or be caught out.
  4. Commentator described him several times as "the weakest link". Mind you, they had previously referred to him as Ross County! Will be interesting to hear what our own fans have to say.
  5. [i've removed a few posts that made reference to personal lives]
  6. Nothing on the official site, but it's on Wikipedia today (so it must be true!)
  7. Meanwhile Dundee Utd, whose players witnessed something horrific at close quarters, are going ahead with their home match against out of form Hearts.
  8. So long as your balls aren't a funny shape you'll be fine.

    You've answered your own question!
  10. A very loyal servant rather than legend IMO, but a player who has contributed an awful lot to us in his 7 years at the club. Highlight of his time with us, as previously mentioned, came at a time when Fuller was the most in form and hyped striker in Scotland. Caff performed brilliantly at Tynecastle to help us claim what is still one of our best ever results.
  11. I suspect people might wish to comment on and discuss the merits of postponing this and other matches this week, and I think it would be better if that happened on a dedicated thread like this rather than the one paying tribute. This decision surprised me as I wasn't aware of any calls from anyone to call the OF game off. I can't say I agree with it myself, but I completely understand the reasons why. It makes me wonder if there is any momentum gathering behind the scenes to postpone all of this week's games?
  12. There was an article on him in the Sunday Times, basically saying how he is at a crossroads in his career. Says he is happy with us, but will be going back to Fife next week unless the clubs sort something out, or someone else comes in for him. Also mentions that Stephen Kenny was trying to find ways to recall him from loan! Reading between the lines I expect him to stay, but it'll cost us a small 5 figure transfer fee.
  13. Setanta's SPL highlights show this evening started with Delahunt announcing of the sad news, Davie Hay then made a few comments about O'Donnell's career and then the rest of the slot was a tribute to Luis Figo. A slightly bizarre but well intended gesture I'm sure.
  14. That's him in the pic, Lembit Opik. The relationship started round about the time the Cheeky Girls' work permit renewal applications had been rejected......but they eventually got renewed after some political intervention :024: Marius Niculae take note - if you don't prove your worth on the pitch, you may have to do some very unpleasant things if you want to stay in the UK!
  15. ........and this website has its fair share of both!
  16. What an awful thing to happen. One of those "putting things in perspective" events.
  17. All we need now is a quote from East Fife about their new signing!
  18. Surprising and very disappointing given his recent good form (well, apart from Falkirk).
  19. Sounds like a bad day at the office, had to happen eventually.
  20. I think we can rename this thread "Who clearly isn't at Falkirk!" At this stage I'm glad I'm not there.
  21. ICT unchanged from Hearts game, unsurprisingly. Our bench gives us a couple of attacking options but doesn't look particulary strong on the whole.
  22. Amongst all the socks and chocolates, I got a named brick at TCS. Not sure when it'll get put up, but I'll have to make a pilgrimage to see it some time in the new year.
  23. This topic has been moved to NON - ICT. [iurl]http://www.caleythistleonline.com/community/index.php?topic=5684.0[/iurl]
  24. I can't imagine Proctor starting ahead of Rossco, but it's good for Brew to finally have a selection dilemma in that position.
