Soca Warriors v Wales
I'm afraid T&T didn't look like they'll be troubling any of their opponents :007:

England v Rest of World friendly
I expect the England team will be awarded MBEs or knighthoods.

Champions League Final
Pleased to see Henrik Larsson a Champions League winner, he deserves that kind of reward after spending most of his superb career playing for teams he was too good for. I doubt we will ever see such a good striker playing in Scotland again. Couldn't score against ICT though!

Hastings or Golabek
True, but in the last few games of the season Golly finally started to look his usual self, and finally back to full fitness. There's a clean slate for both of them at the start of next season.

Time to get the old...
Presumably this is the first time the Scottish Cup has been won by a team that was booed off the pitch by their own fans.

Riordan off to Celtic
If you've got all this supposedly amazing talent, how come ICT always whip your *****?

Riordan off to Celtic
Surely Dargo will be on the list of possible replacements, he outscored Riordan .

Kirin Cup 2006
So when do the Scotland team collect their MBEs? The precedent has been set for winning a meaningless closed tournament. At least on this occasion there was more than one opponent.

Kirin Cup 2006
Last time we got 5 was indeed against San Marino, about 10 years ago. I remember a 6-1 friendly win against Yugoslavia about 20 years ago.

Kirin Cup 2006
Just think how many more we'd have got if Dargo had been playing! Looks like Scotland will be the only British nation to win a tournament this summer.

Ambition For Next Season
I think a more realistic target would be top 6, and a cup final would be nice too. Particularly if its the UEFA cup.

Rossco versus St Mirren
Doubt it, the St Mirrens fans will have well over 2 years built-up anger to release by the time we next play them. It's also one of those stories that over time has grown into mythical proportions down there - many of their fans believe that, in the most horrific challenge in the history of football, Rossco' broke Kerr's leg in 6 places, ripped his heart out, ate his liver, danced on his grave and then laughed all the way back up the A9.

Ben Jackson
Someone posted here a couple of weeks ago that he had been told he can go, and somebody else said that Jackson told them he was going to Utd. No official news though AFAIK.

Bavidge v McAllister
If we bring in another SPL standard striker to complement/challenge Dargo and Wyness, then a loan like that would seem a great move for everyone concerned.
-
Bavidge v McAllister
I think Bav did have one full-time season with us after his degree, but didn't improve and decided to get a proper job in oil instead. It didn't look like he was ever going to be any better than a fringe player on a poor salary. Right career decision IMO.
-
Bavidge v McAllister
Are there similarities between the two raw, ungainly teenage strikers? Although he was performing in a lower league, Bavidge seemed to have better pace, control and finishing. And yet he didn't quite make the grade as a pro. This makes me worry for Rory.

brews wish list
He was the one Pars player that looked good yesterday, I'm not surprised he's attracting interest from elsewhere.
-
well done caley
Our first ever game in Div 1 was away to the Pars, and I remember the excitement of playing a big team, at a big ground....and then getting a big thrashing, 4-0. I think it was our next trip there we did really well to hold them 0-0 til the last minute. Very different story since then though in 8 SPL games, and not forgetting a League Cup win on pens at EEP.

Dunfermline v ICT
Terrible 1st half, but we were much better in the 2nd and deserved the win. Couldn't believe it when Morgan's 25 yarder went in, there were about 18 players in the box and he somehow got it through them. Bayne and Fox had easy chances to seal the win, both from great lay-offs, and Tokely had earlier missed a couple of free headers from 6 yards. Best bit of skill was Barry's 60 yard run, the eventual shot saved. I would have to say though that the upfront pairing of Bayne and McAllister could have played on through the entire summer break and still wouldn't have scored.

Dunfermline Ticket Prices
If you can cover up for a minute, you can enter the home turnstyles further along the main stand and hopefully get a student rate. Once you are in, just walk along the stand to join our fans. I did that once when I got to use someone's Dunfermline season ticket. (And no, it wasn't Buffy's)

Which players are being moved on?
If that's the case then it's very bad news. Charlie clearly doesn't see them as part of his plans, and if they stick around it reduces his ability to bring in new players.
