Jackson on his way
Very rare that we sign a player and then release him before he's made it onto the pitch. Is this a first, or did Chris Miller get that honour?

For Ref's sake...
Being full-time doesn't improve their eyesight.

New Deal For McAllister
1 goal in 21 appearances. I would have waited til January before thinking about offering a new contract. It's not as if other clubs are queueing up for him.

Kirin Cup
I cannot believe that Lee Miller (6 goals) has been picked ahead of Dargo (20 goals)

Jackson on his way
Given that Wyness, Bayne and McAllister have been so poor recently, I would suggest that if Jackson was any good he'd have been given a chance. Good luck to him though, he looked fast in the warm-ups!

We're fifth in the league and you're no
Although meaningless, it would be quite satisfying to finish 4th "on points". I can't imagine that has ever been achieved before.

Match report from Tannadice
Don't be surprised if he makes a move for I-Cat!

Match report from Tannadice
Got a freebie at Tannadice last night. Highlights were : 1) A cat running full length of the pitch (dribbled round the whole Utd defence and scored etc). 2) Utd midfielder Stuart Abbot is only 4 feet tall. 3) Big hoarding just along from the dugouts advertising the Samaritans phone number. Not clear whether this is aimed at Utd's management, players or fans. Despite all this, it still wasn't worth going.

Bobby Mann
If he keeps up the good work, he too might earn a move to a wee team in Iceland

"Pele"
"if I had known earlier in the season that things would have worked out this way, I probably would have taken the vacant Elgin City job when it was offered to me." :!:

next season strip?
I'll drink to that!

Scottish Play-offs
Just struck me that in season 07/08, Division 2 could have County, Elgin, Peterhead, Livi, and Partick. It would be kinda fun to join that league for a season!

Was It A Dennis Law Moment ?
I saw him quoted as saying his celebration was respectful of the good years he had at Livi, but it looked a pretty normal celebration to me. He ran over to the stand opposite us, maybe because the benches were there. Personally I find it very sweet that ICT relegated Livi, and that Barry got the goal that sealed it.

Which players are being moved on?
Charlie says: "I have spoken to one or two other individuals who are under contract here and told them they will probably have to leave to enhance their career" I would guess that we have seen the last of : 1) Fox A player favoured by Brewster, inexplicably so in the eyes of many fans. Has disappeared out of the picture since Christie took over, and is at the age where he is no longer a youngster, and needs to be playing regularly. His SPL experience should make it easy to get him into a division 1 club. 2) Parrat I've never seen him play, but with Tokely immoveable and Proctor there as cover, opportunities for the young right back will not arise at ICT in the foreseeable future. Thoughts?

I think you don't know what you're talking about.

Funeral attenders?
Got the 2 "RIP" hats. If I dress as the Grim Reaper, will they let me in with my scythe?
-
Hibernian v Inverness Reserves Live
That's a weaker reserve team than we usually field, there are usually a few first team fringe players. Just McAllister this time (and some might say Fox, but I think his days in the first team squad are well and truly over.)
-
Funeral attenders?
I think I have found a stockist of the RIP undertakers hats, as previously modelled by RIG at Livi. Only £1.50, will see if I can get a couple tomorrow.

Setanta proposal - more ICT games?
Setanta's proposal has been approved by the SPL : - Contract extension to 2010 - Increase from 38 games a season to 60. The extra games will NOT feature the OF. I reckon I'll subscribe for the new season, as will a lot of fans who want to see their own team more (especially as they won't fancy going to games on a Friday night etc)

Caff Leaving? New Deal On Cards
Getting OFFERED a contract extension. The signs are that he wants to leave and I'm sure his agent is being active in getting him a move.

Caff Leaving? New Deal On Cards
Quote from the P&J article : "Some top-flight teams have learned of his frustrations at a lack of first-team football and the Press and Journal understands have asked his agent, Blair Morgan, about his availability." Aye, right! Me thinks the agent was rather more proactive than that sentence implies.

Caff Leaving? New Deal On Cards
Caff to St Mirren would be a great move for both those parties, but not for ICT. We really don't want to lose him, but you can understand the frustration of getting just a few games a season. Personally I think he is a better central defender than Munro, but there's no justification for breaking the superb partnership we currently have at the back.
