  1. I think some people are being unfair on Tokely here. Rossco has been playing in a 4-4-2 where he was expected to get up and down the wings, which he did pretty well - and inevitably sometimes got caught up the pitch. Procco has looked good playing in a 4-5-1 where he is not expected to go on the attack or put crosses in, and so should seldom be caught out of position. It is perhaps a case of the tactics working better rather than a change of player improving our fortunes. But a tough choice for the manager when they are both available.
  2. I read an interview with Fraser talking about how he keeps in touch with Broonie, and that the losing keeper today keeper would have to buy the other one a meal. Make it Gleneagles Mikey!
  3. It was good..........but Tokely wouldn't have let the keeper get a hand to it!
  4. It was a key decision, the moment that gave ICT a foothold and ultimately turned the game. The pundits were split as to whether Pressley's tussle with Niculae merited a penalty. What do you reckon?
  5. Dr Yngwie suggests that you could have oral thrush. It's no laughing matter! Makes your throat agony, and arises from a number of non-sexual means.
  6. I don't think even his appointers would have expected such a sudden impact. If any of the statto geeks on this website have some time this evening, I'd be interested to see a league table counting only matches since Brewster took over. My feeling is that we might have a place in Europe.
  7. I've always considered Mikey to be a decent enough keeper, but I've never seen him make a save that any other decent SPL keeper wouldn't have made. Until today. Brilliant performance. :clapping03:
  8. No, the pic was in the paper but not the online article. I'd scan it, but he's too wide to fit!
  9. Or we could be effectively out before the first home game!
  10. How many cameras were on you?!
  11. I bet you couldn't bear (no pun intended) to be separated from your dog, Mohammed. Secular season's greetings to all believers in ICT!
  12. Our very own Red Card In Warsaw is pictured in today's Daily Record. No, not a court case! It's a feature about Scots who work in Poland. However, the interview reveals that the traitor "marketing expert"moved out there to promote Celtic FC! :33: :33: :33: Glad to read that the food and drink are good, but going by the picture you've perhaps been enjoying it all a bit too much!
  13. It was ICT fans that sang that one, about 7 years ago! (We stopped when Johnboy complained :004: ) If Hearts fans sang it at all, I suspect they switched a couple of the words around.
  14. I recall in an outdoor restaurant in Turkey a "wasp boy" providing a similar service. He got a good tip and everyone went home happy. Apart from the wasps......
  15. I like it Scotty - looks like a classic prog rock album of the type Mantis plays up the A9, but ending rather curiously with a Tina Turner cover! My band is Viper Falcon, who have just released their opus Madelung Equations. Album highlights include Cheese Culture, Ant Network, and of course Manikonda Chalaputhi Rau.
  16. Many thanks everyone, I'll pass on your thoughts, wit and sarcasm to the recuperating Mrs Y when I go back to see them in the morning. But OMG, if you had seen what I had seen...... :010: More than any football match you can imagine it really was painful to watch, horrific in fact, and it certainly ended in injury time. But a great result to celebrate. :crazy07: We now have the cutest wee girl. We decided to avoid any ICT/DUFC bias so chose a name with no football connotations, but I've just this very moment realised that a Hannah (David) played for Utd. :029: :015: She tricked me.......just like 9 months ago!

    Marius

After watching yesterday's highlights, Mrs Y has just gone into labour week early. :crazy07: What do you reckon, Marius if it's a boy, Nicola if it's a girl? :004:
  18. When he went to celebrate the second, he showed a turn of pace we've never seen from him before! Having seen the highlights : 1) McGuire tugged Donaldson a wee bit, but it was outside the box. 2) Donaldson's subsequent shot MOSTLY crossed the line without a doubt, but it was impossible to see whether or not all of it did.
  19. Regarding earlier criticism of the officials, the radio commentators were very vocal that Hibs should have had a penalty 100% and McGuire should have seen red for it. 1-1 and clinging on with 10 men........the tone here tonight would have been much less positive!
  20. When did we last get 3 consecutive wins? Or 3 consecutive clean sheets?
  21. Would Ritchie Hart try a bit of line dancing? Or perhaps the Dashing White Sergeant? And our friends from Dingwall could do the Time Warp.
  22. Interesting to note that Vlad is through to the semis of Lithuania's equivalent of Strictly Come Dancing, after donning a kilt and doing a highland dance. It may be a while before he next reaches a semi-final. So who should appear in a Scottish version of the show? Jimmy Calderwood doing the tango?
  23. Yeah, confirmed on BBC. St J also have Collin Samuel on trial.
