A good listen. This one is perhaps uncharacteristically serious and has a “before before” date of tomorrow as it focuses heavily on the Thistle tie, so give it a listen before then to build up the tension and really get in the mood for the playoffs.
  2. 117 tickets sold so £1,170 raised, which I guess is many times more than it would have raised in an auction, so great idea to raffle it and a great gesture from Paul Cherry to do this.
  3. The draw has been made, and I guess the unhappy faces appearing next to my ticket numbers means I didn’t win! Hope someone here was successful.
  4. I think Joe Hardy’s goal last night was the first of his senior career, at the age of 23. Hopefully the floodgates open and he gets a few more when coming off the bench in the play offs.
  5. Very rare that we get a meaningless fixture. Great chance to give some youngsters a start.
  6. One thing about that league table and the gap between us and Arbroath is that we aren’t sitting here pondering any particular game, chance, error or incident, as it wouldn’t have made any difference to our league position. In most seasons an extra point or 3 would be significant.
  7. Well I enjoy your contributions CaleyTennis. Even if they overreact somewhat to disappointing results, they certainly entertain and spark debate!
  8. I remember seeing David Bagan tucking into a MacDonalds not much more than an hour before a midweek match at Livi. He didn’t play well!
  9. If you ever write a book on football management, I’d buy it!
  10. One of our very worst performances of the season.
  11. If nobody saw it, it didn’t happen. So it’s still 1-1 😉
  12. Not really seeing anything since we scored, just buffering.
  13. One way traffic so far, we just haven’t turned up yet.

It appears that Dundee West are so bad that they have managed to finish 10th in an 8 team league!
  15. It’s curious, and frustrating that we have an impressive 3 wins and 9 points against the strongest team in the league, but only 5 points from Ayr and Dunfermline, sides flirting with relegation, and only 1 point so far from Hamilton.
  16. It came from a poor back-header from Broadfoot, he looked slightly off balance at the time, but I’m not even sure what he was trying to do.
  17. Credit to the large and vocal travelling support, impressive for a televised Friday night match. They will now have a 4 hour journey in which to reflect on the match. 😀
  18. I’d have taken McKay off instead of Samuels!
  19. Killie by far the better side in the first half but we are still very much in with a chance of winning this.

    Sad news.

    First national one.

    Still got that flag too!
  23. So what exactly has changed, from aimless and dispirited performances in that 11 match winless run, to 3 good performances and wins in a row?
  24. Another win and another good day overall in terms of play-off rivals dropping points.
