  1. Awful news, for him and for the club.
  2. 1-1 HT. With our poor home record and extremely depleted squad today, would you take a draw?
  3. Such a frustrating result. A tremendous run of 5 league wins sandwiched between home defeats to Morton and bottom side Hamilton, it’s so hard to fathom. Depleted squad is obviously a factor. Worryingly we lost another 3 to injury tonight, which doesn’t bode well for the next game or two.
  4. Been following the score from Turkiye and delighted with the result - 5 league wins in a row, 4 of them away from home, that’s a great run.
  5. I’m sure he will be in trouble, and he knows it - he emailed Radio Scotland this morning and asked them to read out an apology for his comments, although the maintained the decisions were wrong.

Hopefully this impressive league run of consecutive away wins at Raith, Dundee and Ayr will generate more posts than the fury from some about a weakened ICT side scraping past Brechin in an insignificant tournament!
  7. Just turned on Radio Scotland and Gardiner is a guest on the show just now.

Wasn’t pretty tonight and we rode our luck a few times, but great to get a draw and keep a clean sheet with so many defensive players missing (Robertson, Tierney, McKenna, Paterson, McTominay, Cooper, Hanley) With this Nations League thing, we’ve finally found a tournament we are good at!
  9. He started v Kelty in the cup. First impression, I liked the look of him, seemed strong and composed, albeit there wasn’t much to go on before he went off injured.
  10. The red card man Davidson actually left Brechin a few weeks ago after featuring only once this season.

Seconds before our our first goal, the Dundee player’s attempted clearance was abysmal.
  12. My daughter’s team, Jeanfield Swifts, beat ICT U16s in this morning’s Scottish Cup tie. Because 3 good players moved to higher level this summer, and with eligibility rules, Jeanfield only have a maximum squad of 12 for the cup and none of them are keepers, so a striker had to go in goals today. If the next round is played when a couple of players are unavailable, I guess they would have to withdraw from the tournament and ICT could get another chance, which is what led to them playing Jeanfield anyway after ICT lost in the last round to an Aberdeen side who then withdrew.
  13. Decision was made jointly by the SFA and SPFL I think. Like you I went to a girls match, and also did Parkrun, both of which carried on as normal but started with a minutes silence.
  14. The U16 girls are playing in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup next Saturday, but for the first time in my life I’ll be wanting an ICT team to lose - as they are up against my daughter’s team! We are however organising some lunch for the visitors before they head back up the A9.
  15. That’s more like it, ICT! Great to have scored goals, kept a clean sheet and rediscovered winning ways. Away from home too. Cheers all 🍻
  16. Allardice with a penalty, come on ICT!
  17. Ross Draper joined Elgin this week after being released by Cove. His best years were obviously with us, what a player he was.
  18. If Raith can’t beat us in this one, they never will!
  19. It doesn’t work like that.
  20. I fully expected us to lose tonight, but thought we’d do better than we did. We were hard to beat last season but teams don’t need to do anything special to get a comfortable win against us at the moment, and that is worrying.
  21. Hopefully it will go ahead - reported today that Worcester players won’t get paid tomorrow as the club’s bank accounts are frozen, but their shirt sponsor has offered to pay the costs for them to fulfil the fixture.
  22. Liam Fox interim manager at Dundee Utd. I doubt he’ll get many games in charge, but he can’t get worse results than Jack Ross, surely!
  23. Nobody has said anything of the sort.
  24. Hopefully the biggest creditors are the artists themselves, but I suspect they required at least part of their appearance fees to be paid upfront.
  25. I have no information at all on the arrangements or options, but I suspect the arrangement ICT entered into with the Concert Company would have generated a good amount of money for the club if the concerts were financially successful (more than just renting out the stadium for a few days), and largely protected the club from financial disaster if the concerts made large losses. So upside potential, with little downside risk. If that is indeed the case, the club struck a good deal!
