Our attacking players were too easily tackled Our players were being muscled off the ball all over the pitch Too many passes went astray Hardly any chances created, a real lack of creativity Woeful shooting, some absolutely hopeless attempts on goal Didn’t win headers in and around the opposition box Lost most of the 50:50 challenges There’s a lot there that we can’t really blame the manager for.

Was planning to be at my first home game since the pandemic started, as my daughter’s team had a match in Inverness. But it’s been called off this evening after the weather deteriorated so we aren’t travelling up, but I’ll be buying the stream as usual and watching from the warmth of my living room.

Is anyone else old enough to remember when the last few hours of transfer deadline day was an exciting time for a hopeful or nervous ICT fan?

No surprise. Best for everyone, I just hope it’s not costing us too much money.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
With these forwards coming in, where does that league Duku? Unless he can somehow be reinvented as as a good winger, he probably won’t even make the bench when we have everyone fit. I suspect the club would like to move him on this window but there won’t be a queue of clubs wanting to benefit from his goal scoring prowess, it might be case of him having to drop down a level or two on loan or leaving Scotland if he wants to play much this season.

We are pretty good at the back but I can’t recall us ever being so devoid of exciting and creative attacking play.

“A striker who doesn’t score many goals? He’ll fit in well here!” That, by the way, is a quote from PM Gordon Brown when I was discussing with him Raith’s new signing at the time, Steve Hislop!

Losing Allardyce long term is a massive blow, even though we have the likes of McAleer who can step in.- January additions?
From what I can find, Hector-Ingram doesn’t seem to have had a club since last season. Fox has a really good pedigree including Scotland, Celtic and Southampton, but most recently playing for East Bengal shows where he is in his career. Are there any credible sources that they are on trial with us?- Ex-ICT players' news
He didn’t want to leave, Derby wanted him off the wage bill and he told the Derby Telegraph he is “gutted” about leaving. Fee reported to be £30,000 but Wigan chairman says it was less than that. Absolute bargain.- Ex-ICT players' news
