It’s because we have accomplished more in our short history than most teams achieve in their first 100 years.

A nice gesture, but I’d have politely declined his offer.

I’m half expecting the proposed reconstruction to be that the teams finishing 1st and 3rd in the Championship get promoted.

What a p1sh article from the Record. Gardner simply stated the information he had access to without passing judgement or making allegations. WTF does the bit about previous clubs have to do with any of this?! If Gardner had stayed silent football fans and journalists would be completely in the dark about what happened and the Record would instead be writing an article slating the secrecy of the process and absence of anyone being willing to talk!

You mean something like this? IF {vote response}= “Reject” AND (sum of “Reject” > 2), action = “quarantine indefinitely”

I see that ICT and Partick voted by putting an X in the box despite the instruction to tick the appropriate box. I wonder if some clubs voting in favour did so too, and whether there can be doubt as to whether any such votes are competent?!

If the league titles and relegation are being decided by a vote, should there also be a vote on who wins the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup? !

Scottish football never seems to run smoothly. The end of the season has more suspense and drama than if it had been played to a finish!

If it is us holding the casting vote, we obviously can’t sell our vote to the highest bidder but maybe we could invite Hearts and Dundee Utd to submit sealed bids for Brad Mckay!

A rare failure of leadership from the FM on this.
-
Why this uncharacteristic weakness/lenience on someone who has undermined a government policy on a matter that actually makes a difference between life and death. No idea how the FM can continue to trust someone who stood beside her saying one thing and doing the opposite. Totally untenable. Maybe I’m getting cynical in my old age, but I’d like to know how long the FM has known where the CMO was spending her weekends, and whether there was explicit or implicit consent to do so - I simply can’t think of any other reason for not sacking her.

Yes, when Prince Charles was at Balmoral with Covid 19, Prince Andrew was in London with Jennifer, 17.

Great pic, what game was that?

You can’t start next season until you’ve finished this one, however long it takes. Football outcomes need to be decided on the pitch, not on Skype or in the courts.

That’s it. Ben Jackson is the one you got that I didn’t find, but turns out he had 1 appearance for them as a youngster. After leaving ICT he moved on to Horden Colliery Welfare.

You will all remember the 2 ICT ones, but its unlikely to be with any great fondness.

Got 2 players who have played for ICT and Doncaster, as well as a Caley player/manager from decades before the merger.
-
Slightly off topic but this got me thinking, are there any players who have played for ICT and Doncaster?

Does anyone know what’s happening at the club just now? Can they make our players furloughed employees in order to claim government funding for most of the wage bill?

I would have guessed it was Ridgers- he catches everything!

Maybe the methodology should be decided at UEFA/FIFA level to reduce scope for allegations of favouritism towards certain clubs by national leagues? Still, there’s no formula to resolve playoffs without actually playing them, and the “safest” option may be to just leave eligible teams in the league they are currently in.

You couldn’t reasonably just use current league positions when teams have not played the same number of games, more realistic would perhaps be for all unplayed fixtures to be declared 0-0 draws, similar to the way other sports consider unplayed matches to be draws eg in rugby and cricket World Cups. That doesn’t work for the playoffs though. I fear we will just end up with a decision of no relegation or promotion from the playoffs. Or maybe they could be decided by an anonymous 3 person panel, to include a couple of people who know nothing about football.

I would have thought that my daughter’s 7 a side matches played in front of no more than 20 mums and dads would survive but no, it’s under SFA control so has to cease.
