Doncaster Rovers 94/95
That’s it. Ben Jackson is the one you got that I didn’t find, but turns out he had 1 appearance for them as a youngster. After leaving ICT he moved on to Horden Colliery Welfare.

Doncaster Rovers 94/95
You will all remember the 2 ICT ones, but its unlikely to be with any great fondness.

Doncaster Rovers 94/95
Got 2 players who have played for ICT and Doncaster, as well as a Caley player/manager from decades before the merger.

Doncaster Rovers 94/95
Slightly off topic but this got me thinking, are there any players who have played for ICT and Doncaster?

Coronavirus - Season on hold
Maybe the methodology should be decided at UEFA/FIFA level to reduce scope for allegations of favouritism towards certain clubs by national leagues? Still, there’s no formula to resolve playoffs without actually playing them, and the “safest” option may be to just leave eligible teams in the league they are currently in.

Coronavirus - Season on hold
You couldn’t reasonably just use current league positions when teams have not played the same number of games, more realistic would perhaps be for all unplayed fixtures to be declared 0-0 draws, similar to the way other sports consider unplayed matches to be draws eg in rugby and cricket World Cups. That doesn’t work for the playoffs though. I fear we will just end up with a decision of no relegation or promotion from the playoffs. Or maybe they could be decided by an anonymous 3 person panel, to include a couple of people who know nothing about football.

Coronavirus
I would have thought that my daughter’s 7 a side matches played in front of no more than 20 mums and dads would survive but no, it’s under SFA control so has to cease.

I suggest we hold a gathering of 500 people in the Main stand, a gathering of 500 people in the North stand, a gathering of 500 people in the South stand, and a gathering of up to 500 people in west terrace.

Yes it’s a rather perplexing statement when “gatherings” like our matches, cinemas, small concerts and shopping centres might have more than 500 people but place no strain on the emergency services. It’s a pretty low threshold and simply doesn’t achieve it’s stated aim. I also think it is no coincidence that whilst the Scottish Government think this this measure is necessary, they don’t think it is necessary until the day after the Old Firm match, an event which places far more strain on the services than all other matches added together.

It’s a big thing for them!

Better safe than sorry - looking back at the goals Alloa scored on Saturday, the virus has led to a policy of not going within 2 metres of opponents!

Coronavirus
I know nobody has the answers at this stage, just putting it out there that there might be consequences. How would a “work from home “ directive be applied - matches played on PES/FIFA?!

Coronavirus
So how is this going to play out from a footballing/ICT perspective? It seems increasingly likely that there will soon be measures taken to delay the spread of the virus as has been happening in Italy which is a week or two ahead of us. The purpose of any government measures will rightly be to save lives, not save football. Its questionable whether matches in our league could be classed as large public gatherings, but if they are, games might be played behind closed doors. For clubs like us in a weak financial position, the loss of gate receipts and associated income like hospitality and sponsorships would be hard to absorb, and could there be an obligation to partly refund season ticket holders? Then there’s the prospect of a player or team coming down with it, or severe movement restrictions, resulting in fixtures being postponed for weeks or even months. What happens if the season isn’t completed by the end of May when many players’ contracts end? I can’t think of any fair way to resolve that.

Ex-ICT players' news
Dougie Imrie has been arrested and released without charge, relating to a match fixing investigation involving a yellow card last season.

ICT v Morton
Steady on old chap, we are still closer to the relegation playoff than we are to top!

ICT v Morton
At 2-2 I was starting to have thoughts about our season fizzling out, but great night in the end. Keep it going ICT!

Bronson
What awful news. I knew him only through this site and from meeting occasionally at games or in the pre-match pub. He was always friendly, passionate and humorous, and his drunken late night posts on this site were legendary for many years. RIP Brosno.

Dunfermline -V- Inverness CT
Great result for us, but it has to be said, the game’s best chances all fell for the home side who will be wondering how they didn’t take something. Thankfully for us most of their finishing was woeful, although the goal was a beautiful strike. Not sure was Doran was doing when he gave the ball away cheaply. Our players put 100% into this match, with plenty of full blooded tackles going in, and at full time many of them collapsed to the ground rather than celebrated the win.

JUSTICE FOR JAMES
Scary to think that this person could be called up for jury duty!
