Not necessarily, France will win if they get 4 tries and a 21 point win over Scotland, which is certainly possible when you see the attacking prowess and determination shown against Wales. What a game that was though, so much drama. Its been a great tournament though. Italy and England just there to make up the numbers but the games between the top 4 sides have been close and exciting.
  2. Never thought I’d find myself saying this, but has Billy Dodds made a difference?
  3. I’m sat here with a beer absolutely delighted but equally baffled as to how we get our 2 best results of the season after a dismal run (1 win in 13?) including some truly some abysmal performances, with the depleted squad getting increasingly fatigued. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Nathan Austin has been loaned by Kelty to East Fife whose season restarts today whilst the Lowland League remains on hold.
  5. Given the recent run of fixtures, we’re surely gonna have to rest some players for this tie and give some youngsters and fringe players more of a chance than they’ve had. Increases the risk of an embarrassing upset, but if you can’t rest some of the tired first teamers for this game then when can you?
  6. Not sure if this is an appropriate time to mention that my wife is “Dundee Utd” through and through.
  7. Nice story here about how it came about that in Nigeria, the term Dundee United is used as slang for an idiot. Dundee is too. It sounds like a fanciful early April Fool story but it appears to be true. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/mar/11/the-unlikely-story-of-how-dundee-united-became-an-insult-in-nigeria
  8. If it’s any consolation, if I had the programme you are needing, I would sell it to you.
  9. No probably about it - based on BBC shots on target we would have scored 9 if he hadn’t been there.
  10. I can tell you from experience that a night in Kirkcaldy makes nobody feel fresher.
  11. Winless run continues, but didn’t look like a side that will get relegated, did we?
  12. Most entertaining 0-0 we’ve been involved in for a long time. Incredible that we somehow kept a clean sheet, in contrast to some recent games when we were losing to teams who only created one or two decent chances.
  13. Raith look so much better than us. 2nd top v 2nd bottom looks a fair reflection of the teams so far.
  14. This team is heading for relegation and couldn’t have any complaints. No quality on show and, yet again, no leadership on the pitch.
  15. Would you take a draw?
  16. Just end the season now, please. We are a hundred times more likely to get relegated than promoted.
  17. I’m just contemplating the scenario where the Irn Bru cup final against Raith takes place after he has joined them. Can we appeal against him being cleared of diving? 😀
  18. Don’t assume!

McCann’s winless run as a manager now extends to 3 and a half years. 😀
  20. Very satisfactory end to a turbulent week at ICT.
  21. To be fair, that’s not what he said.
  22. Was McCann at the game tonight? Can we blame him for the poor result? 😀
  23. Lack of leadership on the pitch, unfortunately. It’s not just about captaincy, there was a time when you could have said we had leaders all over the pitch.
  24. With Ryan Christie missing a sitter and having a few other good chances.
