The Great Highland Franchise Experiment
You really are the definition of a fictional troll that sits on the edge of a murky lake with a scowl on their face, holding a wee fishing rod, hoping for bites.

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
It's very clear to see its a team of individuals and journey men. Loanees who aren't good enough that we've panicked in bringing in as we needed players. Our lines are non-existent, I could go on but what's the point, deep down I knew this would happen but I hoped it wouldn't. I want to turn it off but can't.

What happens if we get relegated?
Personally, while most of us are probably wondering about what will happen, al efforts should be focusing on tomorrow evening's game as as fans we have very little influence on what will happen. Like everything we're just passengers, but there's one thing for sure, if the communication continues on the same vain as past days/months/years, we'll be told very little if anything at all until someone within the club decides that really enough is enough and changes that. From my point of view, regardless of what happens, SG and DF have to go along with some others in prominent positions and the club operations need streamlined. I can't see why we need to be so top heavy. We also need to have a proper footballing strategy/plan in place as for the last 8-9 years we've been free-falling from one cliff to another without any real direction or plan hoping that something will change. It really doesn't matter what size of a club we are this should be standard. I've never known a club to have so much off-field business disasters let alone allow the person guiding the club to remain in his position; in any other business that person would be gone. I can't believe that those who are digging into their own pockets are happy in any way doing this but just comes across like they are scared to make drastic changes. As fans, no matter what guise the club sits in, we'll always be there to support them but unfortunately there's too many people currently that take that for granted.

Accies Away Play-off 1st leg
We can't score, end of, so I have no faith that we can turn it round and that pains me to say it. I had no confidence before kick off and even less now. We can't cope with their fast pace, high tempo, high press style of play and seeing the pitch being watered (even though its 4G or whatever you call it) tells me that Hamilton will continue in the same way. Individual errors, trying to play a style that we just can't play. Referee has also been questionable and both sides could have had a penalty.

I hope I'm wrong but 7th or 8th imo, said it in the Aidrieonians match thread and if I am wrong I will happily stand up and admit to it so long as it's not further down the table. Our squad is weaker than last season and I don't see us bringing anyone else in, or being able to bring anyone else in, with the ability to make a big enough difference for us to challenge or even make us consistent. For me the manager lacks any real tactical knowledge or if he does have any he certainly doesn't know how to get the players to play to it, there's a definite need for him to progress and try something that is better suited to our squad as a whole. I struggle to understand how a person who has played under the managers he has struggles so badly with tactics and lack of them: is it the players, is it the manager .................... I know who I think it is. Every season for the last 3 or 4 I've slowly got more and more pessimistic to the point I don't even enjoy any little success as it's a double-edged sword when it comes to BD. I guess by setting the bar low I can only be pleasantly surprised 🤪- NAPs Competition - 2023/24 - Call for players
First weeks odds have been posted on the betting forum. I'll unpin and unfeature this thread on Friday when the season starts.- v Airdrie - League Cup
What's your actual problem with the Supporters Trust Board that you seem to think it's ok to come on here and slate them at every turn possible and points fingers? Quite the statements given your relative new found voice on here and very little content. I would suggest that users on here who are part of the Supporters Trust are here in the same capacity as you and I, to post our feelings with like minded people and scan for fans views. Maybe instead of pointing fingers and coming across as being slightly childish, especially in matchday threads, you should contact the Trust direct and see if you can get some help or answers from them direct. Knowing that the Trust works on behalf of the fans, I am sure they'd only be too willing to assist in any way they can if you put it across in a more constructive manner to them direct.- v Airdrie - League Cup
I can't tell you the last time that I was excited for the start of a season, pre-season should be the time where you ramp up and the suspense builds up for the new season to start but the apathy I have towards our team and more so the management team has killed my enjoyment. Billy Dodds has not and will not be the man for us and will not guide us anywhere other than down which he has already been doing. He should never have been given a new contract and the board should be ashamed of themselves. The League Cup should not be used as pre-season friendlies which I have said numerous times, for a club like us who needs as much financial income as we can get/gain, it should be treated seriously to entice fans in and try and progress as far as we can. We came back too late for pre-season and will now be chasing our tails for weeks trying to catch up with other teams in a league that is very competitive, I can't even bring myself to say that I hope no one runs away with it as even if they do we won't be in the running. I'll apologise in many months if I am wrong but we will languish in the bottom half and finish somewhere between 6-8th in the league. Too many times have I read that we were good in part for 45mins, 60mins or we tried our best or we did some things well. A match lasts 90mins and if we can't compete for the full extent of it why do we bother to give praise for some of it, over the course of a season that's a lot of minutes where we have been sub-standard or will be sub-standard. If we have any aspirations of promotion, which I seriously doubt from board level, then we can't afford to be sub-standard. Some will see this as an over the top rant about a manager that I do not like in the slightest, but I personally don't think it is. Just because he has been given a new two year contract doesn't mean I have to like it and doesn't mean I have to bow down to him, he's not immune to criticism and it's only a matter of time before we get his ridiculous after-match interviews and the blame game will begin.- NAPs Competition - 2023/24 - Call for players
@CaleyTennis @TheCaleyOne if you go to the betting forum tab of the forum you'll find all last seasons weekly predictions along with the weekly points total. I'll post the first weeks fixtures around Tuesday 1st August for the first weekends fixtures.- NAPs Competition - 2023/24 - Call for players
Not long now until the beginning of the new league season on 4th August and the start of the NAPs competition for 2023/24. Thought I would shamelessly plug it to see if we can get more players compared to the 13 we had last year. Head to the Betting Forum where the weekly fixtures are posted along with the points.- Robbo
Regardless of what he does or doesn't do, in my eyes in his role as Director of Football, he should be at ours games, no ifs or buts or if he wants to be or not. He should be told that it a requirement of his role.- Queens Park Take 2: Scottish Cup 4th Round
I think it's fairly obvious why. It's not just the fans that need to be accommodated at a match - refereeing team, players, police, announcer, directors, hospitality to name a few - while some may be small amounts of people, they still need to be accommodated so the main stand is open anyway.- ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Amazing what happens when you've a manager who plays you- Raith away Jan28th
Yet again Robbo is in Dingwall commentating on open-all-mics, I know I raised it before and it's been picked up since but it's an absolute disgrace. If someone can explain to me legitimate reasons for his position at the club then I'll listen but when does enough become enough. Among many changes need, he has to go.- Brechin City match
I say, Let's open the whole stadium and bring in way more stewards and police then we need for a game that won't attract as many fans as normal Eh what? 🧐- Raith Rovers -V- Inverness CT
Congratulations to the team on the win, hopefully gives them some belief and confidence. Funny what a win can do regardless of performance, whether Raith were poor or not, I've always been a big believer that you can only beat what's put in front of you. I'm still in the undecided camp regarding BD, once win doesn't make a season but it can kickstart it so we'll see what happens.- Raith Rovers -V- Inverness CT

In all fairness, the reality is that they are better players than they are currently showing and while it's up to them to raise their game it's also up to the management team to help them deal with the expectation vs reality that you refer to. I don't think the expectation we put on them as fans is too much. Doing a job they should love must be truly horrific though so my heart goes out to them. If you, and everyone else, tempers their expectation then effectively you're accepting that we are worse and that's a bad thing, it doesn't put pressure on the team that they require to make them improve, work harder and do better. If we accept it, they accept it and nothing will change and we'll only go one way.- Motherwell -V- Inverness CT - LC
I believe it depends on the particular competition however I think the suspension is for the player themselves as opposed to the player at a specific club- Motherwell -V- Inverness CT - LC

Do you ever speak properly or are you just on here to stir things up again on a night when there may well be high emotions already! For a club that can't afford to get rid of it's manager what makes you think we can afford Jack Ross as well?
