  1. That's us over 170 on the list now so only another 20 or so and we're onto coach number 5 which I think is a great effort! No problem making it 6 coaches if we need it..... As Scotty has said on the event page the online payment facility will be set up in the next couple of days - £10 per head return including online transaction fee. Needs to be paid before we go as I don't want to be wandering round Bucharest with loads of cash in my pocket!
  2. Not an exact address but the bus company is suggesting there's somewhere near the Harp Irish Pub where the buses can park up - presumably because it's the same bus company that did the Celtic transfers last year. As soon as it's confirmed we'll make sure everyone knows where and what time.
  3. Not sure yet - trying to figure out a way of asking without asking. It's the same bus company that did Celtic's transfer last year so if anyone knows anyone that was there you could try asking them what the situation was.
  4. Scotty - can you update quizzer to 7 please and add ictbob to the list - he hasn't said how many yet but let's assume 2 for now.
  5. You're already on the list for 6 places - is this another 2 or do you now only need 2?
  6. Okay - you're pathetic, you'll amount to nothing, you're a waste of space!
  7. Definitely wasn't this one I saw before. The writing was much more subtle than that.
  8. Not sure if your joking here...but it was us! Seriously? I know my memory's shot but that's ridiculous! What a d1ck! In that case presumably not a naff idea, someone out there must have organised it before and we're now talking about part of a set of commemorative tops!
  9. This might be considered a bit naff but I'll put it out there and see what happens: What about getting 'limited edition' t-shirts printed up for the trip? I remember a club (can't remember which one) which got commemorative football tops or t-shirts printed - and everyone that ordered one in advance got their name printed on the t-shirt in tiny writing. It was so small you couldn't tell it was writing until you looked close up and it only formed the background to the main printing on the shirt. I thought it was a pretty cool idea. If we get into Europe regularly then you've got a commemorative t-shirt for about a tenner - if this turns out to be our only foray for a long time then you've got a limited edition collector's item with your name on it. You don't need to be going to Bucharest to get your name on it - just be ordering it before the printing deadline. They wouldn't need to be expensive - if we got the names together over the next two weeks or so we'd have time to get them printed up. If someone is able to design them (including incorporating peoples names into the design) then I wouldn't have thought they'd cost any more than a regular printed t-shirt - especially if we were getting a few hundred of them? I'd definitely buy two! If this isn't naff - is anyone out there able to co-ordinate?
  10. 2 x 49 seater coaches now booked for return transfer from Bucharest to Giurgiu. Waiting for confirmation of kick-off time before confirming cost but looks like it will only be about £10 per person. The above Event link currently takes care of about 50 of these 98 seats - add your details to the list if you want in. Coaches will leave from central Bucharest in plenty time for kick off and return to central Bucharest after the match.
  11. I think Scotty has just taken an educated guess at that - not sure time has been announced yet
  12. Flights booked for me and the wife - Edinburgh to Stansted on Wed night, Stansted to Bucharest early Thursday morning. I'm happy to organise minibus/driver from Bucharest to Giurgiu if anyone wants to get on board with that. Looks like it would be less than £20pp return.
  13. Can anyone comment yet on how many tickets we are likely to get for away leg - more importantly will everyone that wants tickets get them? I want to get my flights booked as soon as possible but just want to make sure there will be tickets available.
  14. I'd take 2 seats if anyone's keeping count.
  15. What about an away season ticket for the many supporters based in the central belt? 9 of our 11 competitors are within an hour's drive of most of the central belt whereas it's pretty much a 6 hour round trip to get to a home match. I don't know if I'm typical but I go to maybe half a dozen away matches a season but I would go to a lot more if at least some of my money was going to MY club and not the competition. If we typically have 250 fans at an away match paying £20 then the home team currently gets £5k. If we could double the away attendance to 500 and the ticket money is split 50:50 then the home team still gets £5k (plus the catering profit from an extra 250 fans) but ICT also gets £5k. That's nearly an extra £100k a season. I'd like to think that the fact that half the money goes to your own club would encourage more people to go to away matches. Granted it needs the co-operation of the other clubs and needs a bit of thought but I think it could work.
  16. Wouldn't he just burn himself out the first time he played?
  17. I thought that but according to UEFA Regulations Article 9.05 the team that is drawn first plays the home leg first. Seems we therefore have a 50/50 chance of home leg first (unless Sepp Blatter manages to get involved)
  18. Jugs116 - If you read it properly it clearly says it will NOT be an open top bus nor will it be a TOUR!
  19. Delighted to say I had a great night's sleep last night - now need to catch up on the other 3 sleeps that eluded me last week!
  20. Appreciate this is just echoing what everyone else is saying but simply have to congratulate and thank all those who organised this. Looks much better than Aberdeen's effort last year and those who designed the Falkirk one must be cringing!
  21. If anyone needs a final push I've still got 10 seats left on 'family friendly' coach leaving Millburn Academy at 9.30. Bargain £15 return for adults and £10 for under 16s - and I've got tickets in F7 to go with those. PM me if anyone wants them.
  22. Best guess is approx. 12,000 but Yogi's interview on BBC website today says he's "quite sure we'll take 15,000-20,000 down to the cup final...". Either he knows something that ICT point-blank refuse to tell the rest of us or else the high-heid yins are not going to be very happy that he's bandying those figures round.
  23. One of these coaches is leaving from Millburn Academy at 9.30am. The other departure point is still to be decided. £10 for kids and £40 for adults - covers return coach travel to Hampden and match tickets. Anyone interested should call 01383 829976 (during office hours) or email scottishcupfinal@hotmail.com with contact details to book.
