  1. im not wanting to get carried away. last season started horrifically, and look how that ended up. in the same way as we went on a run of form last season, this season we could do the opposite. in saying that, i dont think our team is of the sort to let the head drop, we always pick ourselves up. so what you suggest for me is plausible but not guarenteed. lets not look down on our oppenents like they once wouldve to us. the bigger you are the harder you fall and all that. poor wee jonny being called a tink too. feck it. call him what you want till i get the tenner he owes me from last season!
  2. Imo Scotland's left back options are: Graeme shinnie, Paul Dixon, and Steven hammell. In the order. I'd probably have Whittaker at left back ahead of hammell though.
  3. look forward to seeing you all in my wake. ivory toast are gonna tear it up.
  4. welcome aboard. you'll never leave now.
  5. just need a caption under charlie nicholas' whinging face
  6. set it up il happily join
  7. i reckon culter are stronger than most highland league sides. if they still have that jamie mccalister theyll walk their way to the league this year. they arnt close to being as good as auchinleck or linlithgow but are still a very strong side and i dont think many 3rd/2nd divison sides would like to come up against them.
  8. Yeah, Wick reckon they'll lose around £5,000 playing the tie! They'll have to stay overnight on the Friday, maybe in Edinburgh, (or maybe not if the Festival's still on!) Nairn have a real tough one away to Linlithgow Rose, but Brora will be pleased with a home game and a very winnable one vs. Vale of Leithen. Lossie v Culter is interesting as it pits the North's top Junior club against a struggling Highland League side. Was looking for Cove but then remembered they've got a bye! (Along with Formartine, Dalbeattie and Whitehill Welfare*) *Mantis's favourite team!Nairn and Brora will walk over their opponentsI'll take that bet. Linlithgow will beat Nairn fairly comfortably i would reckon.Linlithgow are a poor side did you watch the SJC final? Yeah i was at the game, up until that game Linlithgow were unbeaten ALL season. They won their league comfortably and were only beaten 1-0 in the cup by the greatest junior club there is. They had an off day, it happens. Junior sides usually make it to the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup, until they reach teams from the 2nd and 1st divisions when things are just a little too much for them. I will be putting my money on Linlithgow for the Nairn game anyway, They as well as Auchinleck should be able to handle most of the HL teams i reckon. You overestimate the strength of all the junior teamsThe likes of Linlithgow l, auchenleck, and culter would give any team a run for there money up to about 1st/2nd division standard. Auchinleck gave a strong hearts a run for their money not so long ago.
  9. Imagine being so dull, that you'd pick out others folks mistakes for fun...
  10. That! I would like to see. Celtic travelling to wick on a cold wednesday night after the first game being postponed due to snow in September and going out to a player who no doubt played for ict u19s/reserves in the past. The uproar would be immense. I think Celtic would implode from the centre circle of parkheed outwards. Toxic Radiation would be felt in Rome.

Id be buzzing if i got the day off school to play for the u20s U20 players tend to be either part time in school or have totally left. From my experience of being in school with a couple of them over the last couple years. Missing a morning or an afternoon makes no difference. I'd prefer if the game was in the afternoon myself as i have training on a Tuesday evening but ict is clearly conspiring against me this season!
  12. BOOOOOOOOOO!!!! #lizgate!!

Cheers. Hope you do alright this season although it seems like it's going to be a long one for you.
  14. G shinnie > Wallace I'd have black back. But not ahead of draper these days. Tempelton could waltz into the team do a few cryff turns and shag every bird in Inverness. He's the sort i player butcher would get the best out of. Maybe macloed in the a.shinnie role but we are yet to see how good vincent is there and I'm not sure wether he'd be better. So 1 player id love to have, and 2 i wouldn't mind having.
  15. raigmore Inverness dalneigh/merkinch 2003/04 season a cold windy, (Wednesday?) night vs Brechin. Inverness. Can be found roaming the streets late at night/ living under friars bridge.
  16. Did we not go top of the league last season for a short period after we beat Aberdeen at pittodrie? Or was that second? I forget.
  17. Watched the highlights on 3G in holland! (Feck my phone bill) Vincent's showed great composure on the pen. A bit of a dubious it must be said but i ain't complaining. Looks like we pushed on from then. Doran looking a threat and billy scoring a cheeky back flick type header. Great to see the team looking so confident from day 1 when it usually takes us a while to find our feet.
  18. il give it my best.

  20. Well done!
  21. I blame myself and my other commitments sorry guys. You can whip me at Dundee utd away if you want. Probably the only game i can make for a while.
  22. worst european defeat in scottish football. over taking the team formerly know as rangers 12-4 aggregate loss to eintracht frankfurt in 1960. we all knew hibs were pish anyway, so why are we so shocked? st johnstone beating rosenborg is more of a shock than hibs getting pumped. that happens weekly in the spl. sorry! spfl!
  23. beat rosenborg 2-1 on aggregate. best congratulate them. done scottish football proud against a decent side. wont comment on hibs
  24. Lets be serious. Their lads. They'll just take the pee out of him for (aledgedly) hiding under a car. Call him a wee girl and that'll be that. No chance it'll effect the changing room.
