i like exciting fitba. i got my moneys worth last season. why would i try to analyise and complain about our best ever season? im not the manager. its not my job to address these 'problems' you seem to be so concerned about.

i dont believe i asked for any stats? i simply made a point that you tried to disprove with stats that look to me to be meaningless (i mean celtic gave away more points from leading positions than us and didnt do too badly). seems im the only one that can look back at last season with pride rather than regret... edit: theres that ''happy clapping'' phrase again. finding it cute now. do you envy my outlook? so try to put me, and others with more positive outlooks than yourself down for it?

its pretty evident who the spl side is and who the 1st division side is. looks like we dominated most the play and they scored through a couple defensive errors. came back though, great to see that with the new players coming in and a couple leaving that we still have that capability.

You say short corners didnt work at least 3 occasions, but how many times does lumping it in the box not work, and a centre half just clears it, and launches a counter attack? Yes it worked twice, but at a higher level that wont happen all the time. Short corners are needed, they can exploit lack of organisation (if the attacking teams sharp) and pre season offers the chance to work on these. Obviously not every short corner will work in the same way as you dont score from every corner which is crossed in the box. From what i can see (from the highlights) one very nearly came off. If you just lump the ball into the box at every attempt, better teams will become accustomed to defending against you and will pick you off. Variety is important imo.

Gringo_jnr, is there any truth in the rumour that ex Caley Thistle star, Liam Keogh has pulled his boots on again and is playing for Auldearn? I can't remember where I heard the rumour but just in the off chance you've heard anything! I'm also aware that Auldearn play in the Inverness Welfare (I think) and not the Forres/Nairn league that you perform in; so I'm really clutching at straws! Apparently it's true, somebody told me they played against Auldearn recently and he was in their team! It is true, Liam lives in Auldearn and pulls on the boots for them when he isn't working offshore A couple weeks ago Jamie duff played for the keg against Farr. ( the team I'm playing for at the moment) as long as the player hasn't signed anything with another junior/semi pro/professional team then he is eligible to play i believe.

Watched him in the fa cup for Wigan, and he was colossal. He's improved a lot from his time with us. And i thought between January and the end of the season with us that season he was our best player by a mile.

i believe theres plans to regionalise the north juniors first and second divisions into east and west starting this coming season. I've just seen that. Got to think that there's a great opportunity for Inverness City to get promoted this coming season, especially if their ground's ready in time! Fingers crossed.

his scolarship contract expires at the end of this season. im sure chelsea will keep him on, but will be interesting to see how much faith they put in him.
