  1. listening to michael o.neill on sky not so long ago, i think billy could get a good run out this time round.
  2. dont know about a cupp final song but if we win i think we should take up the chelsea tradition and throw celery at the players and sing: ''celery, celery If she dont cum il tickle her bum with a lump of celery'' i think the message will promote healthy eating throughout inverness.
  3. first time round we seen glimpses of ability, and a great work rate. now hes an absolute baller, his range of passings tremendous, and has the added impetus of being a danger from the edge of the box and from freekicks. his addition to the side has made our midfeild one of the best in the league. scott brown and co will have their hands full saturday, and i reckon if we hold off celtics early pressure we're in with a great shout of 3 points. it's great to see him back in an ict shirt and playing so well.
  4. Djemba-djemba Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba, Djemba-djemba Djemba-djemba It was close between djemba-djemba and Alfie moon from queen Vic fc (who's apparently county's next big signing) but i didn't want to get my ear nibble off by cat, so there was only one choice.
  5. I think he'll be a club legend when we sign him in the summer.
  6. Remember that time people wanted butcher out? Yeh me too. Fannies. Sacking managers gets you nowhere. Managers need time. Butcher got it, yogi will get it.
  7. if only curtis allan was still here.
  8. Lol. Some people on here btw.
  9. injuries seemed to hold him back. missed the bulk of pre season never seemed to recover.
  10. league cup-yes scottish cup-yes u20 league -yes! boom treble
  11. Do you remember the dream? I'll buy back the Micra and we can hit Concord Rangers this weekend. 100% this is the opportunity we've been waiting for let's Persue the dream! Concord rangers away!
  12. Il be scout. If The club put me through my driving license and il happily travel to the lowers reaches of English football to watch games.
  13. Sutton left Lincoln in 20th place. Larsson had a team tipped for promotion fighting relegation. There is nothing in their management careers that says they are ready for taking a successful team in the SPL to the next level. Nothing whatsoever. As I've previously pointed out, a successful playing career means nothing in management. Truly awful players and even those who haven't played at all have also made fine managers. Who would you rather, multiple-title winning McCoist or perennenial reserve Walter Smith as a player? Now who as a manager? No relation between the two positions. im not saying that there playing careers will make them good managers. what im saying is both are unproven, and both know the scottish game. yes sutton left lincoln in 20th but he also joined them when theyd lost 9 of their first 10 games. it was a bit of a sinking ship at the time, and imo he did well to keep them up. with larsson in his first season he looked to be taking the team up, before form dropped towards the end of the season and they finished, 5th much like ourselves last season. it was an obvious blow, and looks like he never managed to pick them up again before eventually leaving. you cant really say either will be good, or bad managers from that. however i think both would want us to play with the ball much like the way butcher wanted us to. and would look to build on what weve got, aswell as both having good links, which would help hugely with scouting and replacing marsella. (is he still with us? i read today butcher was gonna get him anyway)
  14. wouldnt say either sutton or larsson have failed at management. given suttons only had 1 year in it, in charge of lincoln, he kept them up after they had a horrendous start to the season, and then left due to ''family reasons''. Larsson had 1 good year just missing out on promotion and 1 indifferent year avoiding relegation in his experience managing. What we know is that both were very good players and have experience working at the highest level with some of very good managers over the years.
  15. Wouldn't say he was useless. Ran his socks off and could pick a pass when needed. Just didn't really suit us at the time and looked like a headless chicken at times. His debut vs Motherwell he was our only shining light and the day he scored 2 against the pars he was excellent. We just didn't get enough out of him imo.
  16. Best: foran. One of his first. And the only one that we can call a legend out of butchers signings. Worst: probably have to be gnakpa/anyone that picked a fight with foran or got on the wrong side of him.
  17. Can't exactly judge a player based on u20's. It'll be more about fitness for him than anything. The guys came in with a record as a goalscorer. Wait and see. Gems usually take a while to flourish. A.k.a billy and A.shinnie. Not saying he will flourish. But you never know.
  18. Hoping to go down on the Saturday night then il try find my way to Easter road somehow in the morning.
  19. put doran on the left side and watch him turn kovacevic inside out. that man is a donkey.
  20. if an outfeilder dives to the deck hes labelled a cheat. no different for keepers.
  21. Soul destroying for the toast! MACKAY OUT!
  22. On the topic of young Scottish talent. Calvin miller at Celtic has just won worlds best youth player at his age group. An award neymar and romelu lukaku have won before him. At only 15 he's on a pro contract at Celtic. He could be one to watch
  23. Great servant. Obviously lost interest in the game and decided it was time to move on. Presume he'll be in the ict end for the derby now.
