  1. ICT under19's are my wee team
  2. OOOh dear a little bit too much negativity creeping in, get real, this team has surpassed your expectations, why start wearing the blinkers now? The ICT deserve every bit of praise given to them for the first half of the season they have not beeen negative they have fought like tigers and redeemed themselves on many occasions when they have slipped up, yes two thrashings but lessons were learned and came back all the stronger for it. How much more can you ask of a team on their performance to date. Virtually a new team playing like an established side and you moan, come off it , go and get yourselves some decent glasses, watch carefully the progress the manager and team are makeing and get behind them in a positive manner. Who knows you might even think of getting a rose tint in your lenses by the end of the season. Happy New Year all. . . . . remember the watchword is togetherNess.
  3. There's always a bright side, if the smelltic play tomorrow we will no longer have that game in hand hanging over us. I quite fancy a draw in that match which can only be good news.
  4. They are all hungover and still in their pits at Dingwall!!!!!!!!!
  5. Sir Terry is staying, he wants the Euro challenge as much as we do. Think ahead, the support and the money will come pouring in next season when we become the top Scottish Challengers for European glory. The days of the Celts are nigh!......... ICT are on their way and with Terry at the helm there will be no stopping the charge of the Highlanders. Keep the faith, TogetherNess will win.
  6. OOOOOOOOOH handbags ready !
  7. Maybe they are preparing for rutting........darling
  8. Roberts has made a large contribution already to the success of this team, Terry is nursing him on in his usual casual but strict style. Watch out for more explosive play by Roberts before this season ends, this lad has bags of still unused potential which he hasn't even opened up yet!!
  9. Looks like our sharpshooters are ready for the winter break, ICT have had a remarkable first half of the season it is bound to get more and more difficult as the opposition study our play but I'm sure the lads have some more tricks up their sleeves for the second half and will return to their scoring ways. One more massive effort on Wed. and then they can have that much deserved break. This has been the most exciting season in a long long time and the second half is going to be taxing for all Teams, should be a real rollercoaster and not for the faint hearted. Good luck to the lads in the away derby, going to be a difficult result and score line to predict but my belief is still with the ICT, close but decisive. Come on ICT go for it.
  10. More of a Bush number HEBE54
  11. Go easy on the Pinot Noir Terry, The players will want you to have a clear head tomorrow. Happy birthday!
  12. Should be a cracking game, wish I could make it but will be there in spirit and listening with spirit too. Won't be having water though African or otherwise prefer a neat result!!!!
  13. Fifty / fifty maybe. Goalkeeper's nightmare though, Unsighted for a crucial split second as it went through the defender's legs. Still my choice of Keeper this season for his all round sense of command as well as stopping ability. As I write this IHE has come out with anotherof his humorous quotes!!!
  14. Wwwwwhhhheeeeeeeeeew!! worse than a bad dream, glad we have good researchers in our midst. Toni has made such a difference to the confidence in defence.
  15. I go along with the stay together shout. To accomplish what is possible for ICT this season it is important that together-Ness is the key factor. I believe they will give assurance that they want to stay and will be welcomed into new contracts. It is a difficult time for the Club so keep your fingers crossed.
  16. Sounds a good result in some ways, pity we didn't edge it though. Well done ICT.
  17. Hope we are just giving them a start to make it more exciting!!
  18. Is there commentary anywhere please ???
  19. Sounds like the lemon is looking for excuses for our getting revenge this time !
  20. OTJ

bughtmaster replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
OTJ deserves all the accolades he gets on here, a truly great player. Since we got our act together each player in the team in his own right has deserved every bit of praise given and each has been outstanding at some point or other but the wonderfull thing is the way the team is playing for eachother, a true team spirit manifesting itself in points on the table. A team of players from keeper to strikers hell bent in showing that they are capable of overcoming any mishaps and striving to make ammends no matter what the odds. Perhaps Mr Bannerman will one day write another book, a book about this team and entitle it ''No matter the odds'' because I have a strong feeling about this squad going down in history. The potential is there the desire appears to be there and what they have accomplished so far is phenominal. It is a pleasure to feel we are witnessing a success story.
  21. Just got round to this one..........a classic........well done!
  22. Aye it's good, a few eyes have been opened not just our own 'Pessimistic Brigade' who have suddenly awakened to reality. And I don't think it's over yet, not by a long chalk!
  23. With the successes (minor though some of them were) in the Scottish cup in the old days, the talk we lads had was about merging Caley, Clach and Thistle and having an Inverness team to compete with the ''BIG BOYS'' we rekoned we would win the league easy. Beginning to think all my old contacts, like me, had to leave the Sneck to get on in life. There was little chance of getting anywhere staying in the 'old town'. National Service had a lot to do with opening our eyes and minds so there was a bit of an exodus by the pro merge brigade or so it would seem as there wouldn't have been this stupid underlying bitterness that is so apparrent nowadays. Incidentally in my 70's and still just the one team for me. ICT with Caley at the heart of it. Merry Christmas one and all, Together-Ness rules.
  24. DoofersDad and Yngwie, double yokers, fairly came out of their shells there.
  25. My eyes ain't too good is that a P or an N at the start of the words ''in the north'' under the Caledonia sign ? I dread to think what IHE's drinking!. Compliments of the Season to all concerned with ICT and Lang may the ba hit the back o the opposition net.
